Jean Richard Aquastart with a modified Felsa 4000N caliber.

A bit of an oddball watch, with a 5 min flyback chrono function and still housing all of the usual coloured discs of the Aquastar Regate hidden beneath the dial. All of the examples I have found (5) have a mixture of blank and serialised casebacks. Currently still trying to dig up more information on this 🦄 so stay tuned to see what else I can dig up! Thank you @10thwatch for letting this one go by @mostlymovado

Seiko 6105-8110 from March ‘76. Commonly referred to as the “Captain Willard” due to its appearance in arguably one of the most thought provoking war films ever made. Paired here with a WJean waffle, considered by many to be the closest reproduction of the infamous and very expensive ZLM01. by @mostlymovado
