Playing dress-up with @mostyle_dublin.

No shopping. Just pulling everything out of the wardrobe and seeing what’s actually in there.

The bit that gets me is how she puts two things together that have hung a metre apart for two years and I’ve never once thought to wear them together. Then she’ll spot the one piece missing that would make ten outfits work instead of three.

She’s also the one who tells me when something’s jaded, as she calls it, and needs to go. I’d never make that call on my own.

It’s not necessarily about buying more clothes. It’s about seeing what’s already there properly.

And her rates are far more reasonable than people assume. The right stylist isn’t a luxury thing — it’s actually someone stopping you buying wrong for another five years.

Meet Mo.

I met her at a fashion event a while back and we’ve worked together ever since — keynotes, corporate events, the rooms where what you’re wearing does some of the talking before you open your mouth.

I’ve a few things coming up, so it’s time to get her in.

Not because I can’t dress myself. Because walking in feeling right is half the job. The clothes don’t make the talk any better. They make me steadier while I give it.

I got this lovely message from a client who I met for the first time on Saturday. I love hearing the difference a styling session can make.

We did a 2.5 hour wardrobe edit and made a wish list of 3 or 4 items to purchase in time and then I shared link of where to find them in her size.

The response to @thetraitorsireland season 2 has been incredible. I’m overwhelmed. @siobhni and I had so much fun bringing Lady Muck’s wardrobe together again.

I’m just here to make sure emerging and Irish designers get seen, because great design should be for EVERYBODY.

This year’s casting is chef’s kiss. Honestly, what a dream job. Couldn’t name everyone, but huge shout out to the team making some of the best TV around right now.
