Mondays I love you! One last show this year w/ Bobby McFerrin & @motion_sings @thefreightberkeley It’s not a show, it’s an experience in community, healing and total presence. It’s a gift in my life and has a common effect on whoever comes, of connection, acceptance and love. People come from around the world not knowing what to expect but we leave feeling different and together. Thank you for being a part of this community and you are always welcome. #bobbymcferrin #acappella #sing #community #healing by @motion_sings

A little gift to Bobby McFerrin, and to his crew and community of fans...3 years late...Perhaps the epitome of postponed gratification.

I took this series during Bobby McFerrin and Motion’s now iconic Monday Circlesongs @thefreightberkeley back in April 2023.

A little bit of luck and boldness led to some cherished memories and now an opportunity to share a little bit of this magic with everyone.

If you ever end up in Berkeley, I cannot recommend enough to make a little time on a Monday at noon to experience some of the most intimate musical moments with one of the giants of the musical world and his equally
talented companions. Check out @thefreightberkeley website for all the info.

Back in 2023 the band was @bobby.mcferrin, @destaniwolfofficial, @tammibrownmusic, @bassmanbd, and David Worm. Deep gratitude to you all @motion_sings for these moments that continue resonating in my ears and heart.

I also want to pay respects as I was saddened to hear Tammi Brown passed away since this moment. She was such a bright spark on stage and mic in her hand. Deep bow to her and grateful for all the love she shared with all through her musical gifts. 💚💙❤️

To dive deeper into Bobby’s inner world and toughts, his @OnBeing 2011 podcast appearance “Catching Song” is a classic and a true delight for all curious souls, especially music enthusiasts.

More than a concert, a MOTION show is an interactive and improvisational a cappella experience. From beatboxing to layered harmonies, the performers build music in real time—inviting the audience to experience and influence how the show unfolds. No two performances are ever the same.

MOTION
In 2021, Bobby McFerrin asked David Worm to bring together singers to play and improvise together. Bryan Dyer, David Worm and Destani Wolf have joined Bobby on stage, in the studio, creating songs in the moment, facilitating Circle singing, harmonizing and connecting their intuitive voices weekly for over 4 years as the band MOTION.

PART 2: Wow!! We are moved by all the love we’ve received- over 2️⃣ Million views on all platforms! 💞 Thank you to all the singers, healers and music lovers for sharing your stories and gratitude. This moment is from one of our weekly practices together this year. Most times it starts from a sacred place, like a prayer and that’s all that matters. It’s not about perfection it’s about connection. We do not take this time together for granted, especially with Bobby. After four years of singing together, we have attuned to each other, where collectively we go to a new musical soundscape with surprise and joy. The original clip began at one of those moments. Many asked for the longer version. We to the moment, by being open to each other, with the intention of peace and having fun with the spirit of the song. Come visit us in Berkeley California 2026! 💞 #BobbyMcFerrin #healing #community #sing #acapella by @motion_sings
