The Sony FX5 is definitely an awesome camera but you dont need always the newest and best camera to create great videos. All you need is a vision and a story! No one cares if its shot in open gate or with 16bit, when the story and the frame is boring. Focus more on story and framing a shot, instead of gear. No matter what camera you have go out there and create🎥

After long time not posting we are back with this car shoot of a Ferrari 812 GTS. It was a stressful shoot cause there was a thunderstorm incoming. We manage to get the most out of it.

We filmed this one with the Mantis 1.33x anamorphic lens from @blazarlens.official those lens give you so nice flares and with the oval iris the look of a 2.0 x lens. Absolutly in love with them. by @motionone.ch

💡In this one i show you how and what lights i used to create this look.

All the light i used are from Nanlite. i did shot this one with a lot of daylight coming in from the window behind, i had to get a strong key light to counter the natural light. The 500b was running on 90% to get good light on my face. My shadowside was to dark for this one so i added the 300b as a fill light and diffused it with a godox 5in1 reflector. For the rim light was the pavoslim 120c perfect, but you could also use tube lights for this one. And for the final touch i added the pavobulb as a practical light to give that whole scene a bit more deepth. But there is one more important light, an thats the sun, i timed this shot to have the sun hitting right threw the window on the table behind me, to get hard shadows from the flowers. This creates that extra contrast and makes it look way more interesting. ☀️So dont forget to look for the perfect timing when it comes to natural light.

The perfect light is the key!
It took 4 lights for this setup. I got all the lights from @nanlite_global

And when you are from switzerland and you also want some good lights you can get them and way more @dedotecschweiz! Absolut in love with those lights! by @motionone.ch
