Some years ago, after finishing @schoolofmotion character animation bootcamp, I took part in Round #2, of the collab project created by a school of motion alumni, named Box society.
Each animator was assigned to choose from some empty spaces as seen and create an animation that would react with a neighbour apartment.
Had the pleasure of choosing the flat above @rod_dominguez apartment and created with the help of my good designer friend @zoubovy the magician animation.
The project fell through and even the original posts are lost in Vimeo's graveyard, but managed to dig out this sample of how it would look like in the end together with Rodrigo's apartment.
Would love seeing someone creating a room right next to mine and how they would implement the yellow "fairy" in their work after it goes inside the vent!

Product analytics explainer video #2 from a couple of years back, part of 5 videos(10min in total), around 200hrs of work for all.
Did the creative direction, storyboarding, design and animation.

Vfx treatment breakdown for the short film "Ready" by @eirinivianellii!!
Used the usual suspect @adobe_aftereffects, specifically a combination of Rotobrush v2, garbage mattes and old school pen roto and masks.
Due to the flexible edges on the clothing (made by the amazing @magda.kaloriti) and the low contrast, i was amazed at how good it looked in the big screen when composited with my version of the alpha matte!
Using the original background on the back really helped minimizing parts of the treatment, didn't have to cut out the inside grey mattes between the arms of the characters and that helped big time with the outer edges as well, at points were i would have to brute forced it frame by frame!
Made a first pass of the footage(in parts) after firstly applying a garbage matte, then added the rotobrush version 2(great improvement since the old one), masked out a lot of pixels "dancing" at the edges using masks and pen tool, while checking the previous and next frames for consistency, did a bit of color correction at a couple of frames(mainly exposure fixes), composited everything with the background and the foreground and made another small pass of tiny fixes with masks while checking it frame by frame.
Working in 5k footage was exhausting for my PC, but we both made it out alive and kicking 💪
