Motja invites you into Imaginary Landscapes, a new EP released by SOMA Labs Music.
If you are looking for music that does not rush to tell you where it is going, Imaginary Landscapes gives you space to stay with the sound and see where it takes you. Moving through dark ambient and experimental territory, the EP gradually shifts from brighter, harmonic moments towards the more shadowed side of Motja’s sound.

The title reflects the concept of John Cage’s Imaginary Landscape: music does not need to follow a fixed route to make sense.

Chronicle by @bonfeghen x @rough.radio

Some extracts from this month's residency. I've been very happy to invite bonfeghen for this one. 1h of live recordings, mixed with some tracks of his latest album 'Bimboloid': an emotional dark ambient hour cut by glitches and polyrhytms. Enjoy ♡

Ballo in maschera on @darkforestrec VA No. 76

The track draws inspiration from Masque, a section of Dances Before Catastrophe in Martha Graham's Chronicle:
a masked figure, rigid and cerimonial, moving to unseen drums and brass – a formal dance on the edge of collapse, embodying the inevitability of the march toward war

Techno as ritual
Techno as premonition

Grateful to @bernardohangar for the trust ♡

Chronicle: For Luperca x @rough.radio

Some extracts from this month's residency. After a bunch of guests, it's just me again, but not alone. This time, the investigation turns inward into memory. A more intimate side of Chronicle, softened by loss rather than driven by it

SABATO 1 NOVEMBRE - Reconnection w/Motja (ROUGH RADIO, IT) - 📍Capodoglio Murazzi ore 18
.
