The day you died, a part of my heart and soul went with you. You forever changed my life in ways I never knew were possible. You helped me be the mom you deserved and I am forever grateful. You showed me that unconditional love is possible and just by one glance my way, my heart could never be more full. You saved me Corbin Wayne.. you will forever be my greatest accomplishment and I’m so proud to be your Mom.

The day you were born you saved my life..
The day you died, God saved me but he had you right by his side listening to you say “Is my gonna be ok? She needs me ya know!” God leaned down to my boy and said “Don’t worry son, she will do great things for you!”

6 Months Without You 💔

I’m often called strong by so many but when I face myself in a mirror all I see is a woman who misses her son. I’ve tried to wrap many situations through my brain on why god would take such a beautiful young soul from this world but I’ve found he did not. My faith has changed in ways I will never be able to explain to anyone but never did I think after all the lectures from my son that I’d be letting god guide me through my greatest loss in which, was him.

My life will never be the same no matter what anyone sees on social media or no matter who runs their mouth, I AM NOT OK nor will I ever be so do not waste my time with your quote on quote “must be nice” comments. Anyone who truly thinks it must be nice to be me can kiss my ass!

My heart and soul will forever have a void. Everyday I wake up hoping this is all a bad dream and my boy will come running in my room asking me if he can skip school today.. those memories are forever printed in my brain for eternity and that’s all they will ever be, just memories.

In time I also believe I will truly find out what happened to my son. I will make sure my son’s death is brought to justice and people are held accountable for their actions whether they think they walk on water or not, Cowards can only hide from shame for so long.

4 Years Sober 🧃

I struggled with alcoholism for the majority of my life. I’m from a small town in Montana that thrives off of bars and local drunks. Everybody knows everybody and thinks they’re something when they walk into an establishment ready to get wasted.

I new my son deserved better, he deserved a parent who didn’t put their needs before him. I observe a lot more at races than just who needs helmets, I see parents unwinding and letting their kids run free while they crack open some beers and let loose. I get as adults we need are “me” time.. but how bad do you really need it?! What about your kids, don’t they DESERVE your full attention at all times? If you need to get away from your kids, then what are you doing?!

My son died because of neglectful people who chose getting drunk, not checking on my son and leaving him lay dead for 7 hours before anything was so called “handled.” People who shamed me for my drinking and made me out to be someone I’m not, ended up causing my son’s death while partying and not paying attention.. Oh how the tables turned.

I broke a cycle of alcoholism with my family (who I will never speak to again), proved to myself how strong I am, stayed sober after my son died while EVERYONE doubted me, AND I MEAN EVERYONE!! But God works in ways none of us will understand.

There is a reason I am here, for my son, for your kids, for God.

I AM FOREVER GRATEFUL 🙏🏻🤎

It’s been a ride..

Not an easy one at that. We’ve been through a lot the past 3 years.
Today we finally are going to be together, everyday and not just on weekends!

I will never be as happy as I was when my son was here on earth but with my son’s foundation and you by my side, I know I will be ok. I don’t know what this life entails but I do know that even on my worst days, I will always choose you..

Trying to figure out who I am without my son will forever be a struggle for me. People think that with time it becomes easier but be so very blessed that you don’t know and hopefully will never know how I feel. Everyday I open my eyes to the realization that my son is dead, gone, never coming home.

Take a second each day to appreciate your child’s smile just a little bit more, the way they need your attention, their hugs..

Any one of you who spy’s on me from Montana and around here honestly.. if you are judging me or have any jealousy towards me.. YOU SHOULD TRULY BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF!!!!
