Thank you David @droos86 for the invitation, high five to to Hyland @thelostobject and all the wonderful Team for the assistance and support. We spent really good time In Amsterdam thanks to you All. It was an honor for us to paint for the STRAAT Museum. Hope we see soon! 💜

The end of this past year and the start of 2024 has been intense, one of the periods of my life that had a deep impact on my perception of existence and how close we are all the time to the void. Life is too abstract, what keeps things going and somewhat balanced are the people we love. I think this painting is a result of some of this thoughts and emotions, an agreement with the no sense.

Dedicated to one of the greatest and most important persons in my life, that forever I will be inspired by, Rom ❤️

'Florescer'

Our most recent and tallest so far mural (33m high) in Lisboa, Casal dos Machados for Galerie de Arte Urbana, Festival MURO_LX.

In 'Florescer', we presented a still life composed by a jar of flowers typical of our homes, but where the set of flowers has its own meaning, because each flower was chosen according to the countries of origin of immigrants in Portugal.
In a symbolic way, we wanted to represent the people that are part of the nation, that make Portugal culturally richer, but that still have to face the struggle of social inequalities.

Thank you GAU @galeria_de_arte_urbana for selecting our project, we feel the most happy to be part of this year MURO_LX edition.

We spent an awesome time, with wonderful people!
Thanks to all the super team responsible for the production, postproduction, to all the neighbours, familly and friends that supported us during the work.

INSIDE TERRITORY 06 - APRESENTAÇÃO MOTS
Dois artistas. Uma linguagem visual em constante evolução.

MOTS é a parceria artística luso-polaca de Diogo Ruas e Jagoda Cierniak, uma prática colaborativa construída através do diálogo contínuo, da experimentação e da autoria partilhada.

Trabalhando entre o muralismo, a pintura e a escultura, MOTS desenvolveu um vocabulário abstrato inconfundível, composto por formas fluidas, composições rítmicas e cores vibrantes.

Formas biomórficas dobram-se, sobrepõem-se e conectam-se, enquanto trabalhos mais recentes introduzem estruturas geométricas e semelhantes a píxeis, acrescentando uma nova dimensão a uma linguagem em permanente evolução. Mas, por detrás de cada obra de MOTS, existe algo menos imediatamente visível. Duas pessoas fizeram-na.

As ideias são propostas, desafiadas e transformadas. As decisões passam de um para o outro. Instintos individuais tornam-se decisões coletivas, até que separar a contribuição de um artista da do outro deixa de ser particularmente relevante.

O resultado não é o trabalho de Diogo ao lado do trabalho de Jagoda. É MOTS.

Ao longo dos próximos três posts, entramos em Inside Territory com MOTS, explorando o que se torna possível quando a própria autoria é partilhada.

Mural in Porto for the INEGI

Last month, we painted this mural for the Institute of Science and Innovation in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering INEGI @inegi.pt to mark their 40th anniversary.

It was an absolute honor to collaborate with an organization dedicated to research. Art and science share the same engines: curiosity and creativity. We are really happy to bring our visual language to a place that continually pushes knowledge forward.

A huge thanks to the entire INEGI Team for the invitation, trust, hospitality, and creative freedom that made this project possible 💛

✨ TILES PROJECT ✨

For the last few months, we’ve been working on our dream project with ceramics. We are so excited about all the new possibilities. We’re learning a lot, and we love that we get to create it all from scratch.

The first panel of tiles is already being installed, and the second one is on the way. Soon, more!

Branch out - the tallest mural we've ever painted, and one of the biggest in Germany.

It was a really challenging project, our first time working on such a massive structure (19 floors building), and we couldn't be happier to have been part of it.

We're honored that our work has become a part of the landscape of Augsburg.

A huge thank you to Daniel, Thomas, and the entire @diebuntenev team for making it all possible. It was an incredible project. Thanks as well to our neighbors on the wall, the @otf.works trio, and all the wonderful volunteers.

BORY 03 project inspired by the Forests of Łambinowice (Bory Niemodlińskie, PL)

Wooden sculpture
Approx. 2 x 2 x 2 m

BORY 03 is the third edition of the BORY series, following earlier presentations at ANEKS GSW Opole @gswopole (PL) in January and in Chemnitz (DE) at @ibug.art 2025. This new sculpture is presented in Hradec Králové (CZ) during the SAFE festival @safe_cz , where we also made our latest mural (photos and more info soon).
