« Ethan Hawke gave me the feeling. bell hooks gave me the framework… » MotsDits
He said, « The one who’s in love always wins. » A beautiful, stoic ideal—like a sun that simply shines.
But hooks taught me love is a verb. It’s « care, affection, recognition, respect, commitment, and trust. » The win is in the active practice.
More crucially, she showed me: Love is infinite yet bounded. Boundaries aren’t the enemy of love; they’re its prerequisite. And: There can be no love without justice. Love that doesn’t move against oppression is passive complicity.
Hawke named the feeling. hooks handed me the tools to become part of the force.

وأعطتني هوكس الأدوات لكي يصبح الحب جزءًا من taken in Morocco, North Africa by @motsdits_
