My grandfather Cezar, at 17yo. Romantic, like he was, he wrote on back of a photo he gave to my grandma Ruth: “Keep in your soul, God; and in your heart, your beloved Cezar”. . I bet my grandma missed him her whole life, after he passed away at 46yo. 2 days ago, she would have turned 104yo. . So, today , I wish my grandma, my mom, and all the mothers of my family a Happy Mother’s Day. 💐 . In name of my grandma, I pray the ancestral prayer for lineage cleansing: “I honor all the women who came before me. To those who paved the way with their bare feet, To those who wept silently so that today I could shout, To those who guarded the seeds when the soil was dry. I honor my grandmothers, great-grandmothers, and great-great-grandmothers. I take from you strength, courage, and resilience. I release you from any pain that does not belong to me, And I transmute ancient suffering into Wisdom and Light. I am the fruit of a thousand generations. 🇵🇪 After 9 years, I step again in Peruvian soil. I hurried up to drink chicha morada and eat ceviche and other Peruvian dishes. . 9y ago, I spent some months at the house of a lovely Peruvian family from Cajamarca. It was the time when I learned Spanish language, and also a lot of Peruvian dishes with the mother of the family, Ada, who lovely hosted me as one of her sons 🥰 . May 25, considered the Africa Day: commemorates the founding of the Organization of African Unity (OAU) in 1963, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The OAU later became the African Union (AU) in 2002. The day celebrates African unity, liberation from colonialism, and progress across the continent. . I had the opportunity to visit and know a bit more about Ethiopia while visiting some parts of the country. 🇪🇹 A country that inspired the colors of most of African countries, because it was the only one never permanently colonized, so it became a symbol of resistance and pride, and Addis Ababa is considered the political capital of Africa. . Ethiopia is one of the oldest continuous civilizations in the world with unique script (Ge’ez), calendar, and traditions. . However, it also faces internal challenges (ethnic tensions, conflicts), so its influence today is more complex than purely symbolic. . 3 words to define Ethiopia would be: Resistance (colonialism), Continuity (civilization) and Leadership (AU). . 🇮🇹 Visit to Turin, Italy, and a random thought of mine: . Mother Earth started with nothing and now She has a very diverse ecosystem in It, but how many times did It face 90%+ of extinction? It always find a way to heal Itself, as we do… Life thrives, and Love always win. Even if there is a Big Bang, all starts over and over… It’s an infinite cycle, and we can’t change this Law. The only thing we can do is to accept it. 🩵 . Maybe we humans are fated to kill ourselves, we don’t know, but we are not the ones to decide how and when it will happen… From one way or another, we all will die, we will be extinct… But in nature, there is no waste. All energies only transform. With or without humans, Nature always find a way to destroy Itself and to rebuild It again. ✨ . For some reason, I saw in Torino the number “167” many times and researched about the numerology meaning of it: “167 = A journey of self-leadership and spiritual awakening. It speaks of: • A person who learns best through self-reliance and reflection. • Karmic lessons about balancing logic (1), compassion (6), and intuition (7). • A need to trust inner guidance rather than seeking validation from others. • A reminder to align personal goals with higher purpose and moral integrity. One must be very lucky and skilled to leave alive from a polar bear close encounter. - “One must keep at least 300 meters away from bears,” the Governor of Svalbard writes and adds: “In the period from March 1 to June 30, one must keep at least 500 meters away.” . Silversea cruise liner writes: “... you’ll discover majestic landscapes teeming with walruses, seals foxes and bears.” Embarking on a 7 days Svalbard luxury tour will cost you from €17,200. . Norway’s regulations are aimed at preserving Svalbard’s vulnerable wildlife in times of growing environmental stress due to climate changes and more human activities in the Arctic. . If more people go there and don’t respect the regulations, more encounters are probable to happen, and polar bears will have to be killed if these encounters are fatal. I know, 300-500 meter is not enough for a good photoshoot, but what’s the best solution? . 🇦🇲 Armenia surprised me… I came to spend 4 days with a basic itinerary, and ended up spending 2 weeks, met Brazilians Armenians from the diaspora, other Brazilians that work here, got many rides with kind local people, had the chance to see the holy Mount Ararat from different parts of the country, swam at the biggest lake in the Caucasus, Lake Sevan, and had a lot of adventures in this meanwhile… . I was lucky to meet the only native Portuguese speaker tour guide in my first day: @marianapapazian 🇧🇷 She also guides in English. I have been in many tours and can certainly say that she is one the best guides (if not the best). She loves to share her passion about her country in details. Thank you very much for sharing a bit with me! 🙏🏻🇦🇲 .
