Recruitment is limited and elite | Cut 05. Recruitment is limited and elite | Cut 05

Will describes how Space Marine units are expensive enough that players should not be recruiting them constantly. He explains that most armies should be smaller than the usual Total War stack and will need help from local allies. The clip is useful because it resets expectations for how the faction’s economy is supposed to feel.

Key dialogue from this moment: “normal sized campaign map so you'll see there are not all these planets you can land on you can't land on the gas giant that'd be a really bad but you would have say like you know three to four kind of navigable planets that you go to in a campaign map and that would be the kind of full extent of your campaign experience within a single campaign. Do we talk about the theatre stuff now? We can talk about that now. Ye…”

This cut tightens the opening, follows the action with a slight right-side focus, and uses a vivid pink caption style.
