It’s a hard decision for Nordic combined, and it’s with a heavy heart that I write these words, especially for the athletes.

I’ve had the privilege of coaching this discipline for several years now, this incredibly exciting and impressive sport that demands so much effort due to its complexity.

Last season, we were thrilled to see these athletes break the 200-meter barrier, and at the same time, we’re seeing cross-country ski races that are getting faster and faster, with an incredible spectacle.

So yes, this decision is hard to accept, but now more than ever, let’s remain committed to supporting these amazing male and female athletes 👊💪
