MIA for months now… life has been full, and there’s so much to write about and be grateful for. Hoping to catch up and share more regularly. Last month, @shrutimouli and I had the joy of hosting a surprise party for my parents as they celebrated 75 years this year. What an unforgettable experience it was to plan and bring it to life for them. A hundred people held on to the secret, and the result was pure magic - an afternoon filled with love, laughter, and memories we’ll cherish forever. The expression on my parent’s faces, PRICELESS! Grateful beyond words to have been able to do this for them, for their tireless efforts to raise us well, and to bring together so many of our nearest and dearest under one roof. A few were missing, but always present in spirit: hopefully smiling at how we managed to pull this off without spilling the beans ! ♥️♾️✨💫 by @moulispurthi
Sunday mornings in the early 90s were incomplete without tuning into Khana Khazana on Zee TV—where the ever-delightful @sanjeevkapoor, with that wide, infectious smile, would bring two delectable recipes to life and make cooking feel like pure joy. Those moments weren’t just about food; they were about warmth, family, and the comfort of knowing you’d be inspired before the week began. We all carry that one recipe etched in memory, born from the magic of Khana Khazana. What an utter delight and emotional moment it was to see him walk through the doors of @masterchefau and experience a wave of nostalgia—like watching a treasured memory blossom into worldwide recognition. A true reminder of how far passion can carry you. The heart is really full and how ! ♥️♾️✨💫 by @moulispurthi

Last week, we celebrated my grand-dad turning 102. What an extraordinary privilege it is to witness someone reach such a milestone and still carry life in his own unique way. Still excited to go out for a spin in the car or eat from a nearby restaurant! It wasn’t until he was 90 that he first laughed and said, “I’m an old man,” a phrase that I now hear more often. There’s a tender mix of emotions in moments like these. Alongside the joy of his presence, I also notice the quiet loneliness that comes with age—the kind that lingers even when surrounded by people. It feels me to the kind that nobody can fill. Yet, within that space, there is still happiness, strength and gratitude. Watching him, I’m reminded that life is not just about the years lived but about the emotions we encounter along the way. His journey exposes us to feelings we never knew existed—longing, fragility, patience, and above all, acceptance. And in witnessing both his pain and his joy, we learn to count our own blessings more deeply. Experiences like these don’t just belong to him; they shape us too. They teach us to embrace life’s fleeting moments more consciously, to find beauty in endurance, and to conclude each chapter with a laugh. In the end, his story becomes part of ours, reminding us that even in the quietest corners of age, there is still life and light worth cherishing. P.S. A photo from 2024 when he hit a century in the presence of all his children and grandchildren. ♥️♾️✨💫 by @moulispurthi
