VENUE SPOTLIGHT ✨ Mount Stuart House @mount_stuart_weddings Being from Bute myself, Mount Stuart will always feel a little extra special to me. 🤍 It’s one of those hidden gems that deserves to be shouted about, with its incredible gothic architecture, the marble chapel and the most beautiful corners to discover. There’s something magical about getting married somewhere so full of history, character and unexpected details. With the Isle of Bute as your backdrop, why not make it a weekend of exploring ❤️ It’s definitely one of Scotland’s most extraordinary wedding venues 💯 Have you visited Mount Stuart before? The chaos of 35mm film photography is why I am irrevocably obsessed with it. The raw intent it adds to a wedding day telling your story in only the way film can | where digital just doesn’t cut the mustard. I read your day, deciding when to use film, when the light sings and the emotions are high. This is why you choose to add film to your day. For the real, chaotic love of your day. ❤️ A little Mount stuart on film. CHLOE 🕊️ A stunning bride in a stunning location… but the GLAM? 🤌🏼✨ Chloe wanted full glam, that still felt like her. Beautiful skin, sculptured features, and eyes that stood out. We created this look and I absolutely love how it complimented her whole look. For my brides who want luxurious, long lasting makeup that enhances their features without masking them - you’re in the right place. 🤍 Make sure to hit save for your bridal inspo ☁️ An amazing day with fellow suppliers ✨ Venue - @mount_stuart @mount_stuart_weddings Hair @lotsoflocksbymarnie @bridalbymarnie Dress @opus_couture Photographer @chicphotobyjacqui Video @tlc_wedding_films Planner @carolinebickerstaffweddings Florals @paperwhitefloraldesign #BridalMakeup #BrideToBe #BridalBeauty #WeddingMakeup BridalGlam LuxuryBride WeddingInspiration by @mount_stuart_weddings
POV: you get to work at the most incredible wedding venue on a beautiful Scottish island 💫 The utterly breathtaking @mount_stuart @mount_stuart_weddings I was so in love when I arrived at this venue. It almost felt magical, like something out of hogwarts! The ceilings, the arches, the staircases, the portraits, the decor. And not to mention the getting ready set up… open, natural light, and lots of space. Every makeup artists dream 🤌🏼 Decor & planning @carolinebickerstaffweddings Venue @mount_stuart Flowers @paperwhitefloraldesign Location Isle of Bute by @mount_stuart_weddings
CHLOE & JOHN There’s something pretty special about photographing someone’s wedding when you first met them 15 years ago… as a junior bridesmaid! 😂 I first met Chloe at another wedding I photographed all those years ago so this one felt a little bit full circle. And yes… we will absolutely be revisiting those photos over the next few days. 🤣 This time, Chloe was the bride and what a bride she was! Mount Stuart House was looking every bit as spectacular as ever dressed in beautiful white florals. The girls got ready in the Horoscope Room, with Chloe looking incredible in her dress from @opus_couture , while John and the boys got ready in the Billiards Room. Chloe’s dad then walked her down that stunning marble staircase and into the Marble Chapel where they finally tied the knot. If you’ve never been inside it, it really is something else - the chapel is lined in white Sicilian marble, with inspiration taken from the Sistine Chapel. After the ceremony came confetti, drinks and a very cute visit from Peppa the dog 🐶 and thankfully, sunshine! ☀️ Then it was time for the bridal party to take over the Drawing Room while we created some EPIC editorial group photos. The architecture of Mount Stuart is so dramatic that there was really only one option… lean into it! Dinner was served in the Grand Hall before the room was transformed into one very packed dance floor. Fireball shots started making their way around, a limbo contest somehow appeared involving a scarf, and there were more questionable dance moves than I could possibly count. 😂 And just when we thought the night couldn’t get any better, the local pipe band, led by Chloe’s sister, came marching down the stairs for a surprise performance before leading everyone out onto the front lawn for fireworks. 🎇 Honestly what a way to finish! Chloe & John sure know how to throw a wedding 🙌🏻 @makeupbydarcyduncan @mount_stuart_weddings @lotsoflocksbymarnie @opus_couture @paperwhitefloraldesign @rosewoodstrings @tlc_wedding_films @houstonkiltmakers @slamdunkscotland @21cc.group @carolinebickerstaffweddings #mountstuarthouse #mountstuartwedding #isleofbute by @mount_stuart_weddings
I had an incredible few days over on Bute at the stunning @mount_stuart_weddings for Sophie and Adam’s incredible day. Which included many of their wedding guests playing in the pipe band in the evening. Great to be working with @chicphotobyjacqui as always. A long but brilliant brilliant day. SOPHIE & ADAM A gorgeous day held at @mount_stuart_weddings - Sophie and Adam tied the knot in the stunning white marble chapel. We had drinks outside in the courtyard thanks to the warmer weather. We made sure to use the beautiful gothic architecture and rooms for the photos. Later on in the day we went for a wee wander outside before the party started. It isn’t a Bute wedding unless Rothesay Pipe Band are involved who marched down the marble stairs and lead the guests outside for some epic fireworks 🎆 What a way to finish! @arkbridal @hairbyhelen_livingstone @eleganzasposa @flowers_by_janine_rothesay @jameventslive @weddingcelebrantscotland @levenfilms @dramboogie @sophierocksharpist @houstonkiltmakers @fireworx_scotland @regisbanqueting #isleofbute #buteweddings #mountstuarthouse #mountstuartweddings by @mount_stuart_weddings
