We weren’t sure whether this post was necessary but if there’s one thing we’ve always tried to be, it’s honest and transparent through the good and the bad times. The truth is, Mount has always been about the community. You guys are what makes Mount what it is, and we feel we owe it to you to say a huge thank you. Thank you for supporting us, for showing up, and for allowing our little business to grow and thrive over the past three years. 🌱 Our hearts are torn between being here at Mount and taking a leap into a new adventure together, in a new city. But our amazing community and team have made it possible, and for that, we’ll forever be grateful.A very special mention to Lewis, who has been an absolute rock at Mount. He’s shown up every single day, done an incredible job, and poured so much care and passion into what he does. And we’re SO excited to welcome Liam, our new Business Manager! Liam brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience in hospitality, and we can’t wait to see him flourish in this role and help guide Mount into its next chapter. You may have seen him leading the way for community in Aberdeen with The Green Run Club. Mount deserves fresh energy, new ideas and an incredible team to drive it. Stay tuned for all the exciting things to come for Mount and the community. The coffee, service and care will always remain the same. It will be business as usual. 🙌🏽We’re so incredibly proud of what’s been created over the past three years, and we’re equally excited to see what the next three brings. It’s truly in the best hands, and knowing that makes it possible for us to embrace this new chapter of life. Tomorrow we’ll be closing our doors slightly earlier than usual, at 3pm. This is so we can set up the cafe in time for our unofficial afterparty for the @abdnmarathon runners, volunteers & supporters. Beer, cocktails & good tunes. Happy Mount Monday! Excited to be starting a new week… plenty fresh bakes delivered & getting to see lots of friendly, familiar faces. This Saturday, the Aberdeen Half Marathon takes places and we’re excited to be hosting an after party for anyone who took part, volunteered or cheered any loved ones on.
