We're living in an age of anxiety, anger and AI with an overdose of information and propaganda.

so it's not just our vision is blurred but even our realities have been altered by constant bombardment of visuals and subtle subversion controlled by transborder fascist states. The corporate media is pivotal in desensitising us into numbness. There's no more the red pill / blue pill conundrum.

decided to climb this slippery asf wall barefeet on a whim.

It has been a great pleasure to do life with you Habibti! Two years just gone by and we have gone for so many adventures and done epic things together! 🏖️ 🏔️

is it the sum total
of it's serene beaches
guest houses , hotels
architectural edifices
churches and quaint cafés
remnants of a Portuguese colony ?

is it a cocktail of Uraak, Feny beer and whiskey
chugged feverishly with a platter of fish & prawns

or is it an escape from
capitalism choked
struggles of life.

goa i reckon
lives between several centuries simultaneously
from the Kadambas ,
Bijapur Sultanate,
the Portuguese
and an overtly aspirational &
moderately exhausted india.

in irony of all ironies
its back to being under
a neocon fascist regime
packaged with the same

and the earth is dying soon,
i can’t tumble
mumble to the moon
(or bathe with bird inside a spoon?)
all these notions,
summer potions
left for other day
÷÷÷
the end will come
on an ordinary day
in the middle of chores and
unfinished tasks

the world will go on
without you, unflinchingly.

so climb that mountain
go on that holiday
or wherever your
happy place is
in a few years
you won't remember the cost
you'll be just happy
