Dang folks. This is one heck of a before and after! The goats cleaned up a kudzu problem in Travelers Rest and now the folks in the neighborhood have the ability to explore the woodland between their houses. (A+ #beforeandafter shots in slides 1-4)

Both @grahamx10000 and @vandeathmusic dug up tubers, while @hendershot454 did some machine work to tidy it all up AND cut some paths in the woods for neighbors to enjoy. Peep the machines he used for the final product in the last slide.

About six months ago, @leahphilllips from @wyffnews4 did a segment on us and our then-upcoming project at @greenvillerec’s Campbell’s Covered Bridge! That night, I got to learn which of my friends had a nightly news habit, because my phone blew up. 😆 I realized I never posted the video (or about the other press we got — looking at you, @lpenso!) so here it is!

Video-of-the-video credit goes to @sydfarth’s mom Carole. And credit for this post goes to Syd, who reminded me about it.

Is your property overtaken by English ivy? You’re not alone. I’m not sure who the heck planted it here in Greenville all those years ago but it’s everywhere now, taking up space which could be used by native flora to take root. The colder months are the perfect time to tackle your English ivy problem with goatscaping!

Do you want to get rid of your English ivy? PM us or give us a call. We’d love to get you on one of our herds’ schedules this winter.

Sorry bud. Not everyone loves you the way you love them, and in the end, that’s okay. #nigeriandwarfgoats #edmund #chickens #upstatesc #travelersrestsc taken in Travelers Rest, South Carolina by @mountaingoatpropertymgmt

Goat logic at its finest 😆 though they are a family, and lord knows family dynamics can get funny. 😅

Retention pond or retention jungle?

Sometimes it’s hard to tell.

Overgrown or kudzu infested retention ponds are eye sores for everyone, except hungry goats! Swipe to see two different pond projects where our herds are helping HOA communities uncover what’s underneath all that growth.

The magic of goats and machines! Brownie’a bunch defoliated this kudzu patch in Taylors, exposing the tubers beneath the surface, and @hendershot454 and @grahamx10000 followed by digging those tubers out of the ground to really solve the problem. Graham was on the shovel, addressing smaller tubers, and Matt was in the mini excavator, digging huge tubers as if they were little things. Hooray! #goatscaping #johndeere17 #pygmygoats #greenvillesc #beforeandafter taken in Greenville, South Carolina by @mountaingoatpropertymgmt

Cornbread finished the job in TR in record time. Before and after photos to come! They’re now on a kudzu laden retention pond job in Taylors. We don’t know if they know this, but they’re in the same neighborhood as the other herd! #pygmygoats #nigeriandwarfgoats #goatscaping #kudzu #greenvillesc taken in Taylors, South Carolina by @mountaingoatpropertymgmt
