Presenting our Game Day Captains + Honorary Captain for Senior Day!

This week, we are proud to welcome back Mountie legend Peter Hess as our Honorary Captain.

A dynamic presence on the field from 1983 to 1987 at both quarterback and wide receiver, Hess was a cornerstone during one of the most decorated eras in program history. He helped lead Mount Allison to back-to-back conference titles (1984, 1985) and an appearance on the national stage in the 1984 Vanier Cup. His standout play earned him professional recognition in 1986, becoming the 15th Mountie drafted to the CFL when he was selected in the 4th round (32nd overall) by Montreal.

Hess returned to the sidelines to coach in 1991, but his impact extends far beyond his playing and coaching days. As a dedicated board member of the 5th Quarter Club, he continues to play an integral role behind the scenes supporting and growing the program today. We are thrilled to celebrate his enduring legacy and welcome him back home on Alumni Field.

Thank you, Peter, for your continued support of the program and the university. Your impact continues to inspire what it means to be a Mountie. ❤️💛
