It only took Gentle Giant movers a little less than 5 hours to empty the house. Tomorrow they bring it all to the house in Port Townsend. This room held some amazing concerts and parties. The Hurricane Ridgerunners, Lucas Hicks and Thomas Deakin, Eneko Dorronsoro, and Howard Rains and Tricia Spencer just to recall a few. It’s truly bittersweet to think of the fine times there with Betsy Brown and all our friends. There’s a new chapter starting tomorrow. by @mountmakingfocus

A space has just opened up in the October 2nd-6th Mountmaking for Exhibits Workshop. This will be one of the last workshops I’ll be giving before retiring so go to Mountmakingfocus. Com for registration or to get in touch with questions. I’d love to fill this spot! taken in Seattle, Washington by @mountmakingfocus

Just delivered this dive suit to Grand Coulee Dam after rebuilding the mount. @nicocurio and I collaborated on this challenging object. It’s good to see it home. #museumlife #mountmaker #divesuit #craft #antique .

I'm making exciting changes to the Mountmaking Focus shop. Getting ready for coming workshops with better tooling, benches, and hot table ventilation. Planning now for this week's mountmaking workshop with the UW Henry Gallery and for coming workshops in the next couple of months. by @mountmakingfocus
