The Center for Service and Justice hosted its biannual End-of-the-Semester Reflection Dinner this evening in celebration of its Spring 2026 Interns. This semesterly tradition honors the work and learning of our interns and all their accomplishments, challenges, and suggestions from the semester.

Thank you to Lucia Méndez Cabello, Francis Lukban, Daniel Lewis, and our community partner, the Catoctin Pregnancy Center, for supervising this semester’s cohort of interns, and congratulations to each of them on their incredible work! by @mounttable

One Mount One Day is this Thursday! Save the date and consider donating to Mount Table’s Lazarus Fund, a collection dedicated to supporting Mount students facing food insecurity.

Your generosity ensures that a current or future Mountaineer is able to live significantly on campus without worrying for basic necessities. Use the QR code to donate directly or select “Lazarus Fund” on the One Mount One Day portal.

Thank you to everyone who came out for Ox Day 2025!

The afternoon began with an ecumenical prayer service lead by Dr. Layton Field and Coach Jay Phillips, followed by service across campus: tidying up the Grotto steps, packing Thanksgiving meal kits for Mount Table, and cultivating the community garden behind the Makers House. Everyone then joined together for a tasty pizza meal.

Commemorating the gathering on November 19, 1805, when our founder, Fr. John Dubois, united neighbors and area families to help begin building the first church on the mountain (what we know today as Mount St. Mary’s), Ox Day honors this historic moment by bringing together the campus and surrounding community in prayer, service, and fellowship.

Though we do not roast an entire ox like they did in 1805, we hope this tradition echoes the spirit of the original Ox Day as we reflect on our history, celebrate our community, and work together to build a brighter future.

Happy November! The Thanksgiving season is now upon us, so we went around campus to ask the Mount community what they’re thankful for. As we share our gratitude, let’s also give back! Join Mount Table’s Give Thanks & Cans food drive and help support fellow students this Thanksgiving. Donation bins can be found all across campus— every can counts! 🧡🦃 by @mounttable
