Happy Earth Day and Happy Birthday to Animal Kingdom!
On this day in 1998, DAK opened for the first time and has been going strong ever since!
DAK is an amazing park, not to mention Keylime’s dream job! If you didn’t know, Keylime is a veterinary science student and her absolute dream and goal in life is to be a zookeeper at Animal Kingdom.

We hope this Earth Day you keep in mind how beautiful and precious our natural world is and that it deserves to be protected.
Happy Earth Day and Happy Birthday to Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

Hi! It’s us! The mouseketeens! We hope you missed us. We realized we never posted a dump from my birthday Disney trip, and we had plenty of cool things to share.
For my birthday, I got to eat at my favorite restaurant on all of Disney property that I hadn’t been to since pre-COVID, 1900 Park Fare at The Grand Floridian.
Since COVID, the theme and characters in the restaurant have changed, but some pieces remain original. The characters featured used to consist of Alice in Wonderland, the Mad Hatter, Mary Poppins, Tigger, and Winnie the Pooh. Now, it’s Aladdin, Cinderella, and two of my favorite Disney characters ever, Tiana and Mirabel!
Also you can see me holding a little bowl in one of the photos and that’s cheese’s. It’s Strawberry soup! It’s basically a smoothie in a bowl, but I have been coming to Park Fare since I was 5 years old, and the one thing I have wanted most since parks closed and re-opened after COVID was Strawberry Soup. I could seriously write a whole essay on why I love it so much.
Another thing we did? We finally rode the Disney Springs Hot Air Balloon for the first time. Neither of us had done it before, but we had a great time and 10/10 recommend it :)
On my actual sweet 16, we went to Ice! at the Gaylord Palms resort. If you’ve never heard of Ice at the Gaylord Resorts, definitely check it out. This year was Rudolph themed, and because my birthday is only 3 days before Christmas, I figured we’d embrace it with the only kind of Ice we like here at the Mouseketeens. We had a wonderful time, but Cheese did get a little cold (I mean it is freezing in the rooms)
Overall, my Sweet 16 was so incredible and it was so amazing to spend it with my favorite person.
We hope you all had a happy holidays and happy new year, stay tuned for more content coming soon!! by @mouseketeens

Someone took Keylime’s Sweet 16 trip a little harder than the other… by @mouseketeens

This gets a whole post in its own because I am CRYING🥹. As the resident Swiftie of the Mouseketeens, as soon as I learned Taylor Swift’s costumes were on display at Walt Disney Presents at Hollywood Studios, I HAD to go see them. The display features the gold Reputation bodysuit, the Midnights bodysuit and pink Karma jacket, and the Tortured Poets Department dress. I was fortunate enough to see the Midnights bodysuit in person previously at Night 3 of the Tampa Eras Tour. The other 2 costumes came along after my stop on the tour, and so I was absolutely thrilled to finally see the incredible details in person and get to think to myself, “Taylor wore these.” Taylor Swift means so much to me and I CRIED when I saw the costumes in person. If you’re a Swiftie and heading to Disney, GET OVER TO SEE THESE! You’ll barely by “Ready For It…”!
