POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This photo has haunted me all week.

it showed up on my phone from a cruise photo from February 2020. Six years ago.

In that photo I see a much thinner face, a healthy glow, a somewhat loose fitting shirt and a smile that had very little stress hidden behind it.

What can’t be seen is how energetic I felt, how excited I was to get my steps in EVERY SINGLE DAY, and in general, how great I felt. I said back then that I had not felt that good since my 20’s.

We all know what happened in March of that year.

Other than the obvious....what also happened was me allowing all of that as an excuse for the way I handled the stress.

This photo has legit shown up about 10 times on my phone, on Facebook, ....so many places...and every single time I’ve thought “I wish that was still me.”

I miss feeling that good....and that good about myself.

Yesterday was a BEAUTIFUL day - cool, sunny, a perfect day to be outside.... but I didn’t want to get out and walk. So I didn’t. Excuses...and not feeling like it.

If there is anythiung I’ve learned since March 2020 is the direct correlation between the food I put in my body and the way I feel.

My not feeling good.... 100% on me and what I put in my body.

I can’t begin to tell you how many times I’ve re-started my health journey since March of 2020. And I’m starting again. I’ll keep starting until everything becomes a habit again. I can’t wait until the stress is gone and the circumstances are easy until I get started. It’s time to start again now. i have to change me in order to change the way I handle the stress.

I just finished off my last gallon of sweet tea last night. I sure love sweet tea. ....but i love feeling energetic even more. it’s go time.

In the past it’s taken about 5 days of being back on Keto / Carnivore before I can tell a difference. Feeling good is a great birthday presentt to give myself.

In order to give my best, I need to be at my best. I’m ready for it.

Here we go again... Wish me luck taken in Disney Cruise Line by @mousemarketplace

Overheard at Walt Disney World. Epcot has lots of amazing smells, but this one gets me every single time… and obviously this kid likes Mexican food as much as I do!

The sweetest in room surprise from @mousemarketplace ✨

We took a trip to the happiest place on earth for Lily’s 5th birthday and I wanted to make it EXTRA special with an in room surprise.

The best part? Every basket is completely customized! You fill out a detailed questionnaire about your child’s favorite characters, interests, colors, and all the little things they love. Mouse Marketplace takes those details and creates a one-of-a-kind gift basket just for them!

And you don’t even have to worry about packing it! They deliver it right to your resort, so the magic is waiting when you arrive!

Lily’s basket was filled with all of her favorite things, and seeing her reaction was priceless. 🥹💕

Whether you’re celebrating a birthday, a first Disney trip, or just want to add a little extra pixie dust to your vacation, this is SUCH a fun surprise!

💌 Comment LINK and I’ll DM you the link to create your own personalized Disney gift basket!

Now this is magic!

Brittney ordered a birthday basket for Hayden… never knowing Evin had already ordered an anniversary basket for her.

Same family. Same resort. Two surprises.

One mom trying to make her daughter’s first Disney World trip extra special.

One husband trying to make his wife’s first Disney trip (And Anniversary) extra special.
Neither one knew what the other was doing.

Just two people cheering on the ones they love.

I’d say that’s a pretty great home team.

Happy 9th birthday, Hayden.

Happy 12th anniversary, Brittney & Evin.

And happy FIRST Disney trip to both of you. taken in Walt Disney World Resort by @mousemarketplace

Do I love a Mickey pumpkin? Absolutely!

Have I already mentally replaced it with a Christmas tree? Also yes. lol

I still have candy from the Not-so-scary Halloween Party left… but in my head, it’s snowing on Main Street, Hollywood Studios is looking all Jolly, and I’m ready to see Gertie decked out with a Christmas ornament.

There’s room in my heart for both. Christmas just keeps scooting over and taking up more space. lol

Where are YOU right now?

He kind of reminded me of Carl, but this older guy definitely loves Disney and Disney Magic Bands. It was so sweet seeing this older couple checking into Disney’s Pop Century. taken in Walt Disney World Resort by @mousemarketplace

My first cruise at 50. Starting Mouse Marketplace a little later. Two things that have brought so much joy into my life.

And through this little shop, so many people who now feel like family. 💛

Would I love more years of these memories? Absolutely.

But I’m grateful I started when I did.

If there’s something you’ve been wanting to try, I hope this gives you a little encouragement. You don’t have to be in your 20s to discover something you love.

I used to get paid to work on the boats at Disney World. For me, that was a dream come true.

Later, I drove Minnie Vans. I loved seeing the excitement when I picked a family up at the airport and take them to their resort —or hearing all their stories at the end of the day. I loved sharing Disney with them!

That’s the feeling behind our Transportation tee, it's Simply Magical! The boats, monorail, Skyliner, buses, and Minnie Vans each bring back a different memory of getting there. And as a kid, I lived for the ride on the trams... so I had to add them too!

If Disney transportation is part of the magic for you, too, comment RIDE and I’ll send you the link to the tee! It's one of my favorite tees we offer at Mouse Marketplace. by @mousemarketplace
