Sometimes, helping someone start fresh begins with the little things. 🤍🏡

We’re gathering donations for the Home Again Project, which helps individuals and families transition back into housing by providing essential household items to help make a space feel like home.

Things like laundry detergent, towels, cleaning supplies, and kitchen essentials might seem small, but they can make a big difference for someone starting a new chapter.

We’re collecting donations this week and would love your help! If you have any household essentials you’d like to contribute, send us a message and we’ll come pick them up for if you’re unable to make the drop off on Friday.

Fall in Cornwall and the Counties is beautiful! It’s one of my favourite times of year to live in this area 🍂

Trails along the St. Lawrence, farms scattered across Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry. There’s no shortage of ways to soak up the season, whether you’re out exploring or cozied up at home! 🍁

Some of my favourite fall memories are the simple ones, like a chilly morning walk with Willow, a warm drink in hand, or an evening around the fire with friends.

LOCAL BUSINESS LOVE 🤍 If you need a salon that feels like home, The Loft Beauty Network on Pitt Street in Cornwall Ontario is the one. The energy in this place is unmatched. From their amazing salon coordinator who also runs their social media flawlessly, to the owner Chantale who is the sweetest and actually styled my hair for our real estate photos on our for sale signs. I’ve been going to my hairdresser Michelle for years, she even did my wedding day hair, and I always leave happy with what she does. Beyond hair they also do lash extensions, microblading, waxing, laser hair removal, facials, nails, and so much more. This place has my heart and you’ll see why the second you walk in! 🩷

Evenings out here mean crisp air and those long evenings where the sun takes its sweet time setting, so Eric and I took full advantage.

This is one of the things I love most about life in Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry. You get space, quiet, and the kind of evenings that make you forget about your phone, all while being close enough to Cornwall and Ottawa that you’re never really out of reach.

If you’ve been dreaming about a little more room, whether that’s a few acres, a hobby farm, or just a backyard that doesn’t look into your neighbour’s kitchen, the countryside here has so much to offer.

So we went back to the numbers, looked at the competition, talked honestly about the home’s position in the market, and built a new strategy.
