Golf Digest showed tour pro vs. 15-handicap dispersion side by side. We put them on the same green.
From 155 yards in the fairway, the average tour pro finishes 26 feet from the hole. The average 15-handicap? 92 feet.
That gap isn’t about swinging harder or necessarily being able to hit it further. It’s dispersion, and dispersion comes down to how consistently one delivers the club.
The good news: dispersion is measurable. And anything measurable can be improved.
Save this for your next range session. Tag the 15-handicap in your group who’s still firing at every pin.

Data: @loustagnergolf (tour, 155 yds, fairway) · Shot Scope (15-handicap, 150 yds) · Original concept: @golfdigest

Stop guessing. Start measuring.

Most golfers mean well, but they’re fixing ball marks all wrong. Here’s the simple way to repair a pitch mark without damaging the roots, so the green heals faster.

Small habit, Big difference.

Your stance sets the stage for your swing.
Top 100 instructor @movement3golf explains why widening your legs and creating a stronger base can help your hips rotate more freely through the golf swing.

One year.

That’s all the time between the swing on the left and the swing on the right.

A year ago, Manning had never played golf and had never competed in a tournament. Yesterday, he teed it up for the first time and finished Top 10.

I’m incredibly proud of the progress he’s made, but even more proud of the way he’s approached the process. He’s shown up, worked hard, asked great questions, and trusted that improvement comes one step at a time.

This is just the beginning.

Excited to see where the journey takes you, Manning. Keep learning. Keep competing. Keep enjoying the process. The future is bright. 👏⛳️

The grip might be the most important fundamental in the golf swing because it’s the only thing connecting you to the club!
When @movement3golf shares wisdom it’s always worth a listen (and save).

Yesterday, I had the privilege of playing High Pointe Golf Club for the first time with a wonderful client and friend who calls this special place home.

Like many, I knew the story—Tom Doak’s (@doakgolf ) first solo design, lost to time, then thoughtfully brought back to life. But history only tells part of the story.

The experience is what makes High Pointe extraordinary.

From the moment you arrive, you want for nothing. The hospitality is effortless. The staff anticipates your needs before you realize you have them. The food, service, and culture are all exceptional —refined without ever feeling pretentious.

Then there’s the golf course.

High Pointe is demanding, but refreshingly honest. It doesn’t rely on hidden trouble or gimmicks to defend itself. It simply asks you to execute golf shots. A great round is rewarded. A poor one is exposed. The course never feels unfair.

That’s rare.

Perhaps what struck me most was that it doesn’t feel like it was built.

It feels discovered.

To me, that’s Mr. Doak’s genius. Rather than imposing his vision on the land, he worked with it. Every hole feels inevitable, as though it has belonged there forever.

Beyond the golf, there’s an unmistakable sense of community that blankets the property.

My only regret?

I only got to play it once.

A sincere thank you to Head Golf Professional @njoy_golf03. It was a pleasure meeting you briefly. You and the entire team have created an atmosphere that perfectly matches and plays beautifully alongside an extraordinary golf course.

I’m genuinely happy for my friend Steve, who gets to call High Pointe home.

What a wonderfully special place. by @movement3golf

Most golfers don’t need more swing thoughts.
They need better organization.

While in Scottsdale this week, I stopped by my buddy @devan_bonebrake’s new facility @studiogolfclub — and ran into @will._reeves (pleasant surprise).

Will’s a mini-tour player.
Talented. Hard-working.
But he’s been struggling since Q-School.

He asked me to take a look.

After a few swings, the issue was clear — not mechanical… systemic.

Before (left):
• Excessive linear forcing early
• Pushing down on the grip
• Aggressively taking the club inside
• Body positioned to support the compensation

The change?
We put him in a more athletic, balanced posture at address.

That did two big things immediately:
1️⃣ Made it hard to linearly rip the club inside
2️⃣ Removed the heel-bias that caused him to rush toward the toes in the takeaway

No manipulation.
No bandaids.
Just better mass organization.

This was only the beginning — but when the system is organized, everything downstream improves.

That’s true at every level of the game.

⸻

📍 Scottsdale is lucky.

Facilities like @studiogolfclub matter — because environment shapes movement.

Well done, brother 👊
