been so bad at posting on this account (except for my stories), but here’s a recap of the last month or so. let’s just say it’s been one busy, rough, but rewarding month. we’ve gotten into so much hands on material so it actually feels like everything we’ve learned in anatomy is being applied. I had my first clinical experience last week which was in the setting I worked at in undergrad and I loved seeing it from a PT student perspective. I began working as a student intern strength coach at a local high school and it’s been so fun stepping out of my comfort zone and growing into the person I’ve hoped to become during my time here. I’ve also taken this time to try and dip back into the things that bring me joy and also find new hobbies like running☺️☺️ by @movementwithmav

Everyone studies a little differently, but I’ve quickly learned during the first 2 months of PT school that I’m a visual learner! I love to take the time to draw out and label every origin and insertion on the bones🦴 This has helped me connect concepts, actively recall, and remember them even after the exam! Here are some examples of my notes for exam 3🧐📚🩻

@rubywilliams12 I think you’d enjoy this too! @anatomy_ink_motion #1styearSPT #anatomy #extracredit #OIANs by @movementwithmav

exam 2 in the books✔️✔️ one of the most difficult but rewarding exams yet (yes we’ve only had 2). this exam truly tested my resilience and passion for the profession but I couldn’t be more thankful. constantly reminding myself that where I am now is once where I dreamed to be. here’s to 1.5 months left of anatomy🙃❤️🩻 by @movementwithmav

here’s how I’ve been spending my saturdays in physical therapy school. To me, saturdays are my days to do everything “normal” outside of studying. Even though this day was still a hard study day I was able to do the things I enjoy!😊

-exercise (incline walk 30min)
-coconut grove farmers market
-TAN🤩☀️
-make the yummiest lunch
-get all the OIAN’s down from the past week
-enjoy the sunset view taken in Miami, Florida by @movementwithmav

anatomy exam 1/first PT school exam DONE!! I will continue to say this 100x but I still can’t believe I’m here and working towards my future goals and dreams. In undergrad this was all I ever worked for so to be here now will forever be surreal. anyways enjoy this dump full of studying, mirror pics, exercise, med campus, the best cohort, and all the sweet treats that helped me along the way🥳🥹🙃🧡💚 by @movementwithmav
