What an amazing girls’ trip celebrating a very special milestone birthday! From the delicious food and breathtaking hot air balloon ride, to horseback riding and exploring Antelope Canyon, every moment was unforgettable. 🎈🐎🏜️

Thank you, cousin, for bringing us all together and giving us the perfect excuse to make memories, laugh until our stomachs hurt, and enjoy some much needed girl time. We had an AMAZING time and hope you enjoyed celebrating your birthday as much as we enjoyed celebrating you! 🥳💕

We had the best time hosting a BBQ to celebrate our Ju's hard work and next chapter. A massive THANK YOU to everyone who came out to share this milestone with us! We appreciate every one of you more than words can say. I didn’t get many pictures, so I missed getting a photo with everyone, please know the love was felt deeply by all of us.

I have to mention the nail biting game of Jenga we had going on. That tower put everyone on edge! 😂 And don't worry, we are definitely getting that Spades game going the next time we all get together. 🃏😂

From Chicago with purpose. ✨

I had the honor of attending the National NAACP Convention, where a resolution I authored, focused on ensuring equitable representation of African Americans in clinical trials, was presented, voted on, and officially adopted.

This resolution is more than a document. It represents a commitment to advancing health equity and ensuring that our communities are better represented in the research that shapes medical treatments and outcomes. I'm grateful to have contributed to work that can now be recognized and used to advocate for meaningful change.

One of the highlights of the trip was spending quality time with my sister and nieces, making memories together and enjoying all that Chicago had to offer. It was the perfect balance of meaningful advocacy, family time, and connecting with fellow NAACP members from across the country.

Here's to continuing the work and turning advocacy into action. ✊🏾💙

Even though I’m away, you are never far from my heart. The bond we share is something truly special, and no amount of distance can ever change that.
