Had so much fun on this project, I was responsible for the Seabed sand lookdev and simulation, seaweeds procedural modeling and interaction, and some skin bioluminescence for the Octopus.

Thanks to team Untold for providing such an opportunity. ❤️ by @movfx

Desert Apocalypse

A Personal project I did recently to learn more about @sidefxhoudini Solaris workflow, instancing, Karma xpu rendering and some Python.

During the project I also built some pipeline tools for my pc
to help me fastrack the process and be more organized.

The whole scene is rendered using Karma XPU
Simulations are done using the axiom solver by @theoryaccelerated
I used Blender a little bit for previs/initial layout
and exported camera from @blender.official to Houdini.

For the Vechile Animation I used free rig by @aximixa_renders
but with some modifications for the Body Roll.

Recent work I did at Luma.

The Timestream FX from Antman-Quantamania.

I was responsible for the Procedural Generation, Lookdev, Lighting, Rendering, of the Timestream based on the references. I had a lot of fun working on this.

Thanks for everyone who gave this opportunity

Having fun concepting with Blender in my free time 🎨💡
Practicing and shaping my artistic mindset, which I feel is the real core skill for any VFX artist. At the end of the day, it’s my love for art that makes me enjoy what I do ❤️ by @movfx
