UM GRRRRRRRRR⁉️🫪⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️ AMORES THE COLOMBIAN DJ VOCALIST QUEEN OF LBC & REIGNING QUEEN OF CHEETAH PRINT GUAPARDA @guaparda.wav WILL SOON BE GRACING US FAAAAAA 🥴🥴🥴🫨🫨🫨🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐆🐆🐆🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾

Guaparda is a singer, @dublab radio show host, and DJ currently studying to become a music librarian/archivist. An experimental vocalist, she honors both the musical traditions of her coastal Colombian family and the house and disco divas of her U.S. upbringing. The result is a surreal collage of nerdy references to music history, brujería, and the sonic fallout of American tech dystopias. Guaparda has collaborated with other artists shaping the Los Angeles Latin underground, including Akumen, Santiago Salazar, and Soltera. She has also performed with Detroit techno collective Underground Resistance🫧😍🫧🐾🐾🎶🐆🎶🌷✨🪽 by @moviiida

DO WE GOT PIPES⁉️⁉️YALLLLLLLLL @blackflutebrigade IS HEREEE !!😨😨😨🥺😍😍WE HOPE YOUR READY FOR THE SERENADE OF YOUR LIIIIFEEE 🫠🫠🥰🪈✨✨🪽🪽

This collective of Black flautists truly showcases the best of LA creating space, visibility & belonging through music & community with the incomparable dexterity of flute virtuosos B~Free, NOAMZ, Jaay, and Aaron Shaw🫪🥺😍

B~Free @bfree2music is a Musical Swiss Army Knife who brings the flute to the front in spaces it doesn’t always get to lead — blending hip-hop, R&B, neo-soul, house & experimental sounds with improvisation, groove & emotion at the core. Her flute work is also deeply woven into her solo catalog, including her third self-produced album Millennial Symphony — which she toured independently in 2025 — blending live flute, loops & genre-fluid production into a full-bodied artistic statement.

NOAMZ @whereisnoamz is a flutist, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and producer creating genre-blending alternative music. Raised in a small town in Wisconsin by a Guadeloupean mother and French father, her sound reflects a rich mix of cultural influences and personal storytelling.

Jon Ta (Jaay) @jaaydover a multi-instrumentalist playing Alto Saxophone, Flute, and producer hailing from Compton, California. After starting his musical journey on flute in 7th grade, he began to pick up the saxophone throughout high school, eventually leading him to hone these skills at the Pullum Center in Leimert.

Aaron Shaw @sheets0fsound is one of Los Angeles’s brightest young Composers, Producers, Arrangers, Band Leaders, and Music Directors. A frequent fixture at The World Stage in Leimert Park, Shaw has collaborated with everyone from Pan Afrikan Peoples Arkestra, Phil Ranelin, Herbie Hancock, and Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, to Mary J. Blige, Dave Chapelle, Tyler, The Creator, Anderson .Paak, Nightmares on Wax and many more less well known OG, established, emerging, and underground Artists in the LA Jazz, Hip-Hop, Rap, Electronic, and Experimental Music scenes. by @moviiida

🗞️🗞️EXTRA EXTRA:‼️DREAMY SONGSTRESS CHULA @steeelydanie SLATED TO DAZZLE THE MOVIDA STAGE @elserenocommuntiygarden ✨✨

Danie is a singer-songwriter, producer, director, and self-proclaimed maker of phat beats, who specializes in creating immersive worlds where music and visuals exist hand in hand. She blends alternative pop, dreamy textures, Chicano soul, and cinematic storytelling to create work that feels deeply personal while still inviting people into something bigger than themselves.

A queer Chicana artist from East Los Angeles, her culture and community are at her center. On her latest release she writes, “Hitlists is about taking my heart back & walking it home…What starts as a walk through my hood becomes an act of self-reclamation; a way of reminding myself who the fuck I am, where I come from, & what I’ve survived.”

Y’all dial innnnn☎️☎️☎️ A breath of the freshest air and artistic prowess awaitsss🌬️🌬️🌬️👑👑 @lake.dorn will be gracing our garden stage 💚🌞A quintessential gem of the new R&B, don’t catch 💤 …catch her mad poignant performance this Sunday bbs💐😍🌷💎

A vocalist and dancer born in New Orleans with a nomadic childhood, Lake Dorn (she/her) grew up singing in the church while also pursuing athletics and the performing arts. After moving to New York, Lake trained as a modern dancer, performing at venues including The Met Cloisters, the Guggenheim Museum, the Whitney Museum, Performance Space NY, MoCA Los Angeles, The Getty, and more.

Since the release of her debut album, Prepare the Body (2020), Lake has transitioned, and so has her work. Her upcoming sophomore album, Black American Princess, documents that evolution: a maximalist, genre-bending record moving fluidly between R&B, soul, pop, and house, arriving unapologetically larger than life.

Inspired by trade, situationships, and the inevitable reckoning that follows both, BAP is ultimately about self-possession, reclamation, resilience, and love. The album finds Lake stepping fully into herself — with the regal ease of someone who has always known exactly who she is.💕🩵💖 by @moviiida
