• A flydubai flight travelling from Dubai to Tel Aviv was diverted and landed safely in Saudi Arabia after a reported brawl between the two pilots.

• The incident is said to have happened mid-flight, prompting concerns in the cockpit and a decision to divert the aircraft.

• The plane landed safely at King Abdulaziz
International Airport in Jeddah.

• All passengers and crew were unharmed.

• Saudi authorities met the aircraft on arrival and are reportedly dealing with the incident.

Nine Americans have been killed in the West Bank since 2022, and the Senate just voted against even asking why...

A 14-year-old from New Jersey was shot 11 times and a Seattle woman was shot in the head, and Chris Van Hollen argued Washington should at least ask why.

“In just over four years, nine American citizens have been killed on the West Bank by violent Israeli settlers or members of the Israeli security forces and there has been zero accountability.”

The resolution only asked the State Department for a report, and it still failed 47 to 51, with Rand Paul the lone Republican yes and Fetterman the lone Democratic no.

Refusing to even document how Americans died tells their families Washington would rather not know.

Some consider it a clear sign of intimidation.

In a video shared online, an Israeli delegation member appears to be taking note of the country envoys who walked out of the UN’s General Assembly as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu began his address.

The majority of delegates walked out and the room erupted in boos as Netanyahu prepared to deliver his speech, which he began by calling those who left the meeting “moral cowards”.

The UK government’s new sanctions on Israel have resulted in zero arms export licences being revoked or suspended, it can be revealed.

Earlier this month, Ed Miliband announced a fresh range of measures against Israel including a ban on trade with illegal settlements.
: The foreign secretary also addressed arms export licences, declaring that applications for “arms and other exports that materially contribute to the occupation” of Palestine would be refused.

This would amount to a “double lock against arms sales” to Israel, Miliband said.

Over subsequent days, Miliband and other ministers came out to promote the new restrictions, indicating they went much further than Keir Starmer’s ban on 30 out of approximately 350 arms export licences for Israel in 2024.

But information now disclosed to parliament details how the measures have not resulted in any arms export licences for Israel being cancelled or blocked.

The British government has not suspended or revoked a single additional arms export licence for Israel since announcing what Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband described as a “double lock” on military sales, according to an investigation by Declassified UK.

Miliband announced a package of measures on 8 September targeting Israel’s illegal occupation and settlement activity. The measures included plans to prohibit trade with illegal settlements and refuse applications for arms and other exports that materially contribute to the occupation of Palestinian territory.
