Throwing it BACK to 1986! 😭 Yes, that is me in the full Don Johnson fit—silky jacket, shoulder pads, and wafer shades. The hair was curly, and the vibe was peak 80s! They included a rear-end shot that was definitely not my best side—let’s just say the 80s didn’t give me any extra volume back there! 🍑😂 We all gotta start somewhere, and this was my hometown beginning right here on the Eastern Shore! 🌊✨ #80sFlashback #IsUzzu #DonJohnsonStyle #EasternShore #ThrowbackCommercial 80sHair FashionFail HometownRoots by @movingdream1

Born and raised in my tiny hometown on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, I never thought I’d end up on the screen. But, I made it happen! From the unforgettable feeling of flying into Los Angeles for the very first time as a SAG-AFTRA union actor for HBO, to traveling to film festivals, here is a look back at some of my favorite on-screen moments. ✨🎬✈️The Highlights Reel:Local Roots: From a quiet Eastern Shore, MD community straight to Hollywood!First Flight to LA: Nothing tops the magic of that first flight to California as a union actor already booked and working on an HBO show! 🌟HBO’s Veep: Such an honor to be a part of this award-winning HBO Max comedy masterclass alongside Julia Louis-Dreyfus.Throwback to SXSW: Throwing it back to my trip to South by Southwest (SXSW) for our screening of Sylvio—the cult classic movie starring a gentle gorilla! I loved getting my start playing the news anchor. 🦍📺Law Enforcement Regular: Behind the scenes, I’ve stepped into the shoes of FBI agents, NSA agents, secret service agents, and a detective on HBO’s We Own This City. If there is a badge, I’ve probably worn it! 🕵️‍♀️🚓Showtime’s The Good Lord Bird: Loved jumping into period pieces—catch my shopkeeper era on The Good Lord Bird.Apple TV+’s Swagger & Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale: Spot me serving up scenes as a waitress on Swagger and entering the dystopian world of The Handmaid’s Tale.Modeling Days: Look out for clips from my national BAX Swimwear campaign and major casino advertisement modeling days. 👙🎰It is a lot of hard work, a lot of different uniforms, and a whole lot of fun. ✨ An Enchanted Fairytale Come to Life ✨
We are still swooning over Mr. and Mrs. Taylor’s magical wedding day at Willow Brook Weddings! Nestled back amongst the trees in Bridgeville, Delaware, this hidden gem transformed into a literal storybook setting.
Every single detail of this day felt like pure magic:
🌳 The Setting: Twinkling fairytale lights wrapped around towering trees against a stunning brick wall backdrop.
🌿 The Drapery: Soft, flowing fabrics designed and installed by us to bring that dreamlike, ethereal vibe to life.
🌸 The Florals: Custom-designed enchanted florals featuring a vibrant punch of accent colors.
We absolutely loved designing and bringing both the florals and the drapery to life for this sweet couple! A massive shoutout 56vto my amazing brother for stepping in and helping me execute the full decor and setup vision perfectly.
Hit play to see the breathtaking floral details up close! 🎬 by @movingdream1

Recovery recovery recovery 😂 The night I will never forget! The stage floor was slippery bubbles!! it was all I could do to get through the dance number with my feet under me. When that chair went back.. IT KNOCK THE WIND OUTTA ME! You just gotta make the best of it!! If the audience is entertained that is all that matters! Sometimes our fails become the greatest memories. That chair hit backwards hard! All I could think from laying on the floor was, “just start kicking!!” A great memory with one terrific Orchestra and cast! I LOVED having the opportunity to direct Peter Pan for the Salisbury school in Salisbury! So grateful to them for taking a risk on this show. The kids had such a good time. Definitely one for the books.
Just because it hasn’t been done, doesn’t mean it can’t! #Peterpan #thesalisburyschool #alwaysafirsttime #whynotgoallout⁉ #flyingbyfoy by @movingdream1

Nasturtiums (Tropaeolum) are easy-to-grow, edible flowering plants known for their vibrant, peppery-tasting flowers, leaves, and seeds, which are rich in Vitamin C and lutein. They thrive in full sun and poor, well-drained soil, acting as excellent companion plants that attract pollinators and lure pests like aphids away from vegetables. Available in bushy or trailing varieties, they are ideal for containers, hanging baskets, or ground cover, and can be grown from seed or purchased as starter plants.
Key Characteristics
Appearance: Brightly colored flowers (orange, yellow, red, pink, cream) and round, lily-pad-like leaves, sometimes mottled.
Taste: Peppery and spicy, similar to watercress, with flowers being more pungent than leaves.
Growth Habit: Bushy (T. minus) or trailing (T. majus); can be grown as annuals or tender perennials.
Growing Conditions
Sunlight: At least 6 hours of direct sun for best blooms.
Soil: Prefers poor, well-drained soil; rich soil leads to more leaves and fewer flowers.
Water: Water when the topsoil feels dry; they tolerate drought but prefer consistent moisture.
Fertilizer: Light feeders; avoid over-fertilizing.
Uses in the Garden & Kitchen
Edible: Flowers, leaves, and unripe seed pods are edible and can be used in salads, as garnishes, or pickled (seeds as “capers”).
Companion Planting: Repels pests like squash bugs and aphids, luring them away from vegetables like brassicas, cucumbers, and squash.
Pollinator Attractor: Flowers attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds.
Ground Cover: Trailing varieties can cover bare spots and suppress weeds.
Planting & Care
Sow seeds directly in the garden after the last frost, or plant starter plants.
They self-seed readily, often returning the next year.

In 2018 my sister Donna and I went through a small crack and climbed into the Crystal Caves in Bermuda. There was only she and I when we entered. I was nervous about jumping in! It was a big “no” for Donna lol. She started recording when In walked a group of men with the most delicious accents! They jumped in! Donna encouraged me to jump, who had no intention of jumping herself, then the men start chanting “jump in Lisa! jump in!!” So..I jumped! A few minutes later, they started to sing! What a thrill!
Going into this cave, I was under a great deal of stress. This is the moment in time I realized how special and short life is! After this moment, I kept looking for the good and the miracles that can happen if you focus on what’s good in life, even during the most difficult times! I cannot tell you how healing those natural waters were and to be floating there with those beautiful and talented men singing was incredible! Thank you very much to “The Choir of man,” who had come into the caves, looking for a little fun and changed my life forever and Donna who kept recording! So happy to have this! Thank you Donna. I’m the one in the yellow shorts :) #thechoirofman #bermuda #crystalcavesbermuda #flashmobsinging #choirofmanustour by @movingdream1

Comfrey (Symphytum officinale), known as “knitbone,” is a hardy perennial herb renowned for accelerating wound and bone healing. It is widely used topically in creams or poultices for sprains, strains, and arthritis. It acts as a powerful fertilizer/compost activator. Crucially, comfrey should not be taken internally due to liver-toxic pyrrolizidine alkaloids.
