EAGLE WITH THE SUNLIT EYE
The eagle, a powerful symbol across cultures represents courage, strength, wisdom, immortality, and freedom. It is also revered as the "king of the skies" and a messenger of the gods. The vibrant colours represent the fire of the sun, echoing its ancient title, "Eagle with the Sunlit Eye" (Iolaire sùil na grèine). The abstract line work, signifies a tribal connection, hints at a rich cultural background, with a subtle nod to the woven patterns of Scottish tartan.

What does the eagle symbolize for you?

Fury of the white tiger guardian
Continuing the black and white minimalist theme, I seem to be channelling my inner warrior-spirit drawing from a mix of cultural memory, emotional intensity, and mythic archetypes.

As promised, my latest painting, the Witching Tree. Acrylic on canvas.I love how this turned out, I think the base layer really helped to make this come to life and excentuate the light and the glow.

DEN OF FINELLA - Thats another painting of to its new home. Thank you @maheevodca
I never enjoy painting green… but this piece made me rethink that. 🌿
It challenged me from the very beginning, and I poured so much of myself into getting it right.
Sometimes the pieces that push us and are the most difficult, turn out to be the most special.
See previous posts for the story of Lady Finella.

✨ Both pieces are off to their new owner.
It's always a bittersweet moment watching an artwork leave the studio, but it's exciting knowing a new chapter is about to begin.
Would you keep a piece like this for yourself or gift it to someone special? I'd love to hear your thoughts. 👇
