More ways to work with me, from anywhere.

I’ve been a personal trainer and coach for 16 years, working with people across a wide range of goals and experience levels.

I’ve qualified for and run the Boston Marathon and competed at the HYROX World Championships.

If coaching has taught me anything, it’s that a training program should work with your life. You shouldn’t have to work your life around a training program.

Good coaching starts with understanding the person. Your goals, experience, schedule, responsibilities, and available time should all shape the plan.

I’ve been coaching online for the past four years. With my in-person schedule now full, I’m expanding my online services and creating more ways for people to work with me.

Running. Strength. HYROX. General fitness. Or a combination of them.

Here’s how I approach strength work while training for running and HYROX.

Most of my main lifts are sets of 3–5 reps at around 80–85% of my 1RM. Box squats and trap bar deadlifts are staples for me. Those variations let me work with heavier loads through a range of motion that fits what I’m trying to accomplish.

I keep the total volume in check so soreness doesn’t interfere with my key runs. I get plenty of muscular endurance work during my HYROX sessions, so I account for that when planning my lifting.

Here’s my current class schedule at MOXI3. Strength in Dana Point, Hyrox Engine in the Shred Room for Costa Mesa. Swipe for times and come train with me.

My goal is to see you realize you’ve got more in you than you thought. I like to break down the workout so you know how to approach it. What to focus on, how to pace yourself, and where to push. Helping people understand their training is one of my favorite parts of coaching. Come be part of it.

If you’ve been thinking about coming in, book a class through the MOXI3 link in my bio and come train with me.
