Everyone starts somewhere… becoming a lash tech could completely change your future 💫

If you told me years ago that lashes would’ve completely changed my life, I probably wouldn’t have believed you!!

Training in lashes has opened doors I never thought possible. It’s given me financial stability, the ability to buy a house by myself and the freedom to build a career that actually fits around my life.

It’s massively helped my confidence. Building my business, meeting so many amazing clients, many of which I now call friends, and becoming an educator has pushed me in ways I never expected.

Hey I’m Meg, the founder of the MP Lash Academy ✨

If you told me years ago that I’d be running my own lash business and teaching others to do the same, I genuinely wouldn’t have believed you!

Before lashes, I was a swimming instructor- I used to spend my evenings in the pool teaching kids and a couple of mornings a week in my local pub to help my income. Fast forward a few years and here I am… a lash tech of 7 years, home owner and proud boy mum 🥰

Lashing started as a small side hustle, something I could do in the mornings before I started teaching for the day. Little did I know it would become so much more. It gave me not only lifestyle freedom but financial freedom and a whole new level of confidence. You wouldn’t believe how much of a nervous and incredibly shy individual I was until I found my true passion in lashing.

Now I get to wake up everyday doing what I love, and now I get the pleasure of showing others it IS possible to build your dream life.

It truely has been a wild ride but I can’t explain how grateful I am that I get to call this my little life 🥹

The best bit is… I’m just getting started 👀

You wouldn’t believe just a couple of months ago my girly had next to no lashes 🥹🤎

She’s been on a bit of a lash journey and it’s fair to stay her consistent use of a good lash serum has paid off!

Also can’t believe this girlies travelled from the other side of Bristol to get to me 🥹🥹

The dreamiest weekend away ✨☁️🤍

Country air, slow mornings, VERY good coffee and the perfect excuse to switch off for a few days.

I think one thing I really struggle with since running my own business is remembering I am allowed time for myself too. When you love what you do, it’s so easy to constantly be working, replying to messages, planning the next thing or thinking about what you could do better.

BUT there has to be a work/ life balance, which is something I’m desperately trying to get better at, because you can’t pour from an empty cup!

This weekend has been exactly what I needed! Feeling rested, refreshed and very motivated.

Some times stepping away is actually the most productive thing you can do 🫶

I have an incredibly exciting but very busy couple of months ahead. So grateful for everything thats coming, but also a reminder to myself to enjoy it along the way 🤎
