*Special note: This post is not just for praying for the U.S…
Use this as a starting point to pray for your own nation/region for the truth of God’s word to reign there…

I am praying for our nation, the United States, for Jesus to once again to have mercy on our land…

Lack of knowledge starts with leaning on our own understanding and not acknowledging God in all of our ways(Proverbs 3:5-8)…

This “lack” is not always limited to “not knowing” but also can/will involve willful ignorance, stubborn pride, selective perspective, and actions that are “fleshly led”, etc….

…that is we are being/can be led by our own limited(and at times unbalanced) thinking and emotions…

… instead of relying on the steady, solid,and consistently “proven” perspective of the truth(the authority of God’s word/the Bible’s wisdom)….

*Lack of knowledge is the number one weapon that the devil uses to keep us “in the dark”…
…His goal is to steal, kill, and destroy(John 10:10).

Father,
Help us to not be “ignorant” of the devil’s devices and schemes…

Help us to be “wise as serpents and yet gentle as doves” in doing and living out your will here on earth (Matthew 10:16)…

Jesus, “The Living Word” is enough!

I grew up in a false religion/a cult (that I will not name for now; maybe in a future post/writing)...
that did everything but proclaim the truth let alone who the “True and Living God” is...

...It was “a mind over matter” platform/message that was delivered/taught through two means...

A “Bible” written/“altered” by the “religion” and another book, written by the founder, that took precedence over “their Bible”…

“Their word” wasn’t enough to help you” live by” to “reach” knowledge about “God” (their god, that is) and the “spiritual levels” that were to be the result of following the “methods” of the books...

...along with other actions that were directly contrary to the life and well-being that Jesus promises of “the Living Word” (John 10:10)...

I watched destruction and death follow/result, while I was growing up from the beliefs of this
“false religion”,
...including enduring the death of my mother at the age of 54 due to denying life saving measures…

It is undoubtedly and all by the grace of the Living God (the True God-Yahweh) that I am alive today, was delivered (totally set-free) from the cult, and have a renewed mind to the point of where I am spiritually today...

It took years for my mind to be renewed by ithe washing of the word (1. Corinthians 6:11), with sound Biblical counseling, and learning to accept/ embrace that His word was enough as well as being the final authority for everything that concerns life and peace(Romans 8:6-8)...

Jesus, through the Holy Spirit, guides believers into ALL truth...

....as we are willing to submit and surrender to Him and set aside what we think, feel, and decide of how/what we should do to know/understand God...
...that is, how to grow in intimacy with Him (Isaiah 1:18-20 and John 16:13)...

The main body of scripture outlined in the picture has been given, in the book of Ephesians,to give “a warning” (an admonition of
“buyer beware”/ “proceed with caution”)…

..for placing our trust in “those things” that take precedence over and/or “comes alongside of “the Living Word” to “help us” know God/grow in Christ and with “transformation” that can only be done by Holy Spirit. by @mparriman

October 7, 2023…Will we forget our “Roots” of Faith?

All of humanity (all of us on the planet) started with God and humanity turned away(SINNED/disobeyed and rejected His love, presence, provision, and eternal life with Him) from Him through Adam and Eve...

...But the Heavenly Father provided a way/plan of redemption/Salvation through a family, the lineage of the Israelites(God’s chosen people to fulfill His plan)...

...Of whom the Messiah, JESUS, came...

...Who is the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE for us all...

... As well as the “cornerstone” of our faith...

May we REMEMBER “our roots of faith”,…

…as your followers, from the “ground” of Israel and by the “hand”of the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob(Yahweh)…

..And may we continue to stand with Israel as
“brothers and sisters”...

...who have been grafted(divinely integrated
“with” by God’s mercy, grace, and love) into the
“Tree”…

...as well as stand/unite as the nation of the United States with the family.

*For reference see the chapters of Romans 11 and John 14 in the Bible.

…That co-worker that came to work who just got divorce papers handed to her on her way out the door that morning…

…That middle-schooler who not only is trying to deal with algebra but is also getting bullied at school…

…That new believer who is still fighting suicidal thoughts…

…That electric line worker who has to still go to work with the cancer battle his wife is going through on his mind…

…That church member who just needs a hug at the end of a very tough week…

* Just a few examples of the ways that Jesus may send our way to “see” where our hearts and minds actually are…

…are we sensitive to the people around us?
…are we aware of the unspoken “signs”/language
…are we spiritually discerning?
… do we “see” what seems to be misplaced?
…are we too “caught up”(focused) on the daily routine/the norm?
…are we humbly compassionate?
…are we willing to love the “unordinary”?
…is it too inconvenient?
…are we too self-focused?
…are we too busy?
…do we “hear” what is being said or what is not being said?
…are we understanding/willing to understand?…

I believe Jesus, the Apostles, and the “ Early Church”…
…were “set apart” to “change the world”

…because they were willing to let themselves be open to/follow(be lead by)the Father’s “heart” about the people around them…

…as He “touched” their hearts(loved on them/showed His “heart” about them) as “unscripted” life unfolded…

…one person at a time…

…first by starting with themselves…

… by simply allowing(receiving through the Spirit within them)the love of God that “little by little” transformed them(1.John 4:19)

May we receive the Father’s love…
…that is,daily allowing the Holy Spirit to help us understand how much that He does love us…
…for that love to “overflow” out onto others who are around us…

“Abiding” in Jesus(that is,staying connected to Him and “in tune”with His Spirit; His leading and guidance)brings power and enablement…
