I woke up this morning just reflecting on every moment of yesterday, and my heart is so full. 🥹 Watching you yesterday — your words, your dance, everything you did — all I could do was stand in awe of the incredible young woman you’ve become. Two of our college arms back home and getting after it. Michael Yeager (Virginia) and Jeremiah Holder (Villanova) spent winter break in the lab with us—cleaning up mechanics, building healthier arms, and adding weapons to the arsenal so they head back better than they arrived. Most programs either recruit or “train.” We’re doing both. We helped these guys find the right college fit, and now we’re staying in their corner through a remote plan that keeps them healthy, strong, and ready for the next outing. The next chapter of Gotham baseball starts now. We’re excited to officially welcome Melvin Perez and MP Citius into the NY Gothams as we take a big step forward with our High School–aged program. This move brings together a 25+ year Gothams foundation with proven high school development and college guidance — all focused on building strong, competitive teams and helping players navigate the path to college baseball. Melvin will lead our High School program as Director, overseeing player development and college recruiting, alongside Allen O’Neall as Assistant Director and Hitting Coordinator, and Alex Cuas leading player development. Tryouts are happening this Saturday. New Year. New chapter. Same mission. After 10+ years of building MP Citius, it’s time for the next chapter. I’m excited to share that I’m officially merging my program with the NY Gothams and taking over the high school division as we launch Gothams Authentic, which will be powered by Authentic Bats. This move lets me pour everything into one vision: elite player development, real college exposure, and a culture that truly represents New York baseball. The same standards, the same energy—now with a bigger platform and a unified brand. I’ll be stepping in as Director of the High School Program and will oversee College Recruiting for all players in the program. I’m also proud to introduce Allan Oneal (Barrel Fest) as Assistant Director of the High School Program and our Hitting Coordinator, and Alex Cuas (Skyline Performance) as Director of Player Development, bringing an elite training and development piece to what we’re building. We’ll be announcing full 14U–18U tryout information soon—starting with tomorrow from 5:30–8:00 PM at Kips Bay Bubble in the Bronx. by @mpbaseball
