We are pleased to share a video we produced highlighting Beverly/Morgan Park and its many positive attributes! Beverly/Morgan Park is defined by architecture and history, diversity, and community-oriented residents, with a thriving cohort of over 400 independent businesses and we are excited to highlight so much of what makes Beverly/Morgan Park a unique neighborhood in Chicago.

Open House Chicago is this weekend, Oct. 17-18! Put on by the Chicago Architecture Center, @openhousechicago is a free public festival that offers behind the scenes access to more than 200 sites citywide. We’re lucky to have 7 sites in Beverly/Morgan Park:

Enjoy the last two weeks of the @95thstfarmersmarket! Army of Juan will play live music this Sunday, and Mother Prepper will have fresh tacos and Puerto Rican rice bowls. In the Community Tent, you can visit Property Tax Reducers from 95th Street. Plus, specialty pop-ups include 95th Street businesses Salty Books & Beans and Pam's Healing Hands, in addition to OSF HealthCare Little Company of Mary Medical Center. Stock up on fall veggies, meat, eggs, cheese, and dry goods from all of the weekly vendors! The market is open Sunday from 8 am to 1 pm at 1835 W. 95th St. by @mpbhba

We’re looking forward to the Tombstone 5k run & walk tomorrow! The race starts promptly at 8:30 am with music and a warm up happening 8-8:30 am. Stick around after the race for the medal ceremony and local bakery treats!

There’s still time to register for this Halloween-themed run & walk through Mt. Greenwood Cemetery. Visit @runningexcels today 12-6 pm to register! Pre-registrants can pick up their race packet at that time.

Limited registration & packet pick-up is available on race day from 7:30-8 am. Please arrive early if you are registering day-of!

Do you have what it takes to win best costume at the Tombstone 5k? We’re looking forward to seeing everyone’s costumes this Saturday, October 17 for the Tombstone 5k at Mount Greenwood Cemetery!

Whether you registered already or still need to, there are two opportunities to pick up packets and register ahead of race day. Packet pick-up and registration will be held at @runningexcels, 10328 S. Western Ave. during the following hours:
Thursday, October 15 — 12-6 pm
Friday, October 16 — 12-6 pm
