On May 16th I graduated from Bentley University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and minors in Business Administration, Psychology, and Sociology; graduating Magna Cum Laude 🎓

Since I was a child, I always knew I would go to college one day but I never fully understood what that journey would give me in return. I knew I wasn’t pursuing this degree just for myself, but for my family — for my mom, my sister, my dad, and my uncle, who have always looked at me as a source of light and accomplishment. Because of their love, sacrifices, and belief in me, I am proud to say that I am a first-generation woman in my family to earn a college degree.

I didn’t just gain a degree, but I gained clarity and a deeper understanding of my purpose. Through the tears, laughter, prayers, and moments of doubt, I discovered my sense of self and the woman I am becoming. Everything I do is not just for me, but for the people around me. This accomplishment is for all of my loved ones; those who are here beside me today and those who will forever live in my heart ❤️

This is only the beginning of who I am becoming. by @mpc.xo
