Tommy Emmanuel, the greatest guitarist ever, appeared in Anchorage on 10/8/26 at the PAC! I was fortunate enough to b in the audience! And…..part of the private meet ‘n greet prior to show opening. I saw him perform several times in late 90’s in Nashville (at Chet Atkins Appreciation Society) & became a huge FAN! IF u ever get the chance to see him….DO IT! by @mpignalberi

Yes!! Was a great Saturday w/Toni Walker! We stopped at Bluewater Basecamp enroute to Big Lake for a visit & walk around the property w/Teal Hopper & hubby, Russ! Their place is amazing!! Spent the afternoon w/Dennis Brandon & Lynn Brandon!! Sooo very great to see them after my last visit 18 months ago! (Yikes….where does the time go?) Toni did all the meal preparation, Lynn gave each of us coffee mug bouquets & her precious little handmade angels! She makes from wire, old jewelry & her creativity! Dennis made us all laugh for a few hours! Awesome visit w/multi-decade friends!! ❤️ by @mpignalberi
It’s the last day of 2024!! Wow! Happy New Year to my friends & family who helped make this yet another amazing 12 months! 😍 I am bursting w/gratitude as it wraps. On 12/12 at the Visit Anchorage Xmas luncheon, Senator Bill Wielechowski surprised & stunned the heck outta me by presenting me w/an Alaska Legislative Citation for my 50 year contribution to AK tourism!! AYK, it’s been a labor of love for me so I am truly very humbled & appreciative. Time marches on so let’s all look forward to how 2025 unfurls!! ❤️ by @mpignalberi

Laurence John…..my decades-long friend, tourism industry success & founder of Great Alaska Adventures left us one year ago today!! Still seems unreal & he is greatly missed! He was a force of nature, greatly loved & lived life to the fullest! RIP, dear LJ!! 😍🙏 by @mpignalberi
Back to my roots in Dallas, Texas!! My handsome nephew, Jeffrey Broaddus wed his beautiful bride, Jourdan Smith! And it was a truly over the top formal affair. That…..and a non stop party from sun up to sun down! For days (& nights!) And, SO very great to share tons of time & hugs w/my crazy crew!! Home sweet home to rest now!😍 by @mpignalberi
Last night was one to remember w/huge mixed emotions! The final meal served at the inimitable Marx Bros Cafe!! Wishing Van Hale & Jack Amon God-speed & fun days in their futures…….the doors closed! 😢 Thank u both for 45 years of amazing cuisine, personal interactions, lots of laughter, wonderful memories & incomparable Caesar salads! Love you both! Gretchen Wieman Fauske, D.j. Fauske & Miles Baker were the over-the-top dinner partners. I, will find it hard to drive up & down 3rd Avenue now!! ❤️❤️😍😍 by @mpignalberi
Yet another family transition: this gorgeous guy, Rhett Cerny, the youngest of my 3 Grands, is off to his first year of college tomorrow! From Burbank, CA to Colorado Springs, CO. Break a leg, go get ‘em, learn a lot, make new friends & have great fun, Rhett. Love you much! ❤️😍 by @mpignalberi
