Not for the faint of heart. 💔 Proceed with caution.

Amidst the rubble of destruction, symbols of peace endure…a Buddha standing still in wisdom, and a saint cradling hope with a dove in hand. Even in the face of devastation, hope remains unbroken. 🗿

My heart aches for those who lost their homes, their jobs, their family sanctuaries. To come home to such chaos is a pain no one wants to face. But witnessing this city rise together, united across all walks of life, has been nothing short of inspiring.

L.A. is far from perfect, but its beauty lies in its grit, its resilience, and the strength found in its diversity. Like a phoenix, we will rise from these embers, stronger than ever. 🕊️

Also shout out to all the neighboring communities that came together to donate and organize amazing support, bravo !

Lastly if any homies need any help clearing out debris, a place to stay, or just an ear to dump on please don’t hesitate to hit me up. ✊🏽 by @mpov

This sunset actually caught my eye in my review mirror while driving, which caused me to pull over and capture these shots. It’s in these moments the world stands still. ⚜️ by @mpov

Back to my basics. 3 out of the 4 were shot on film 🎞️ at my studio @projectparallelstudios with model @tefa.felicci & @project_pumba making 🐍 her appearance.

They say “the serpent is the bearer of knowledge, its coils holding the secrets of the universe,”

If anyone wants to shoot & get creative, DM me.

When things get dark, don’t let it all fade to grey. There’s beauty in color, just as there’s truth in black and white. Sometimes we can lose hope for a moment when we’re blinded by the truth of a red red rose, for its truth in beauty is protected by a long stem & the thorns of its past. But this is the truth of wonder, that even a rose can make you bleed. Just Like an ant can move a mountain. Because a mountain to you could be a hill for me & a mountain to me might be a hill for you. This is perspective But doesn’t change what is in store for us in history.

Repeat after me, “my value is where I stand & where I stand gives value to others.
If my value is not spent where I stand,
then where I stand is not for me.” -P0 by @mpov
