two sluts. one (reusable) cup. four stages. fifty five acts. a million bajillion orange drinks.

Primavera Sound was a smash! this old slag bag is not too big on festivals but this Porto take on the Barcelona classic was a goodie. Clean fest, good crowds (mostly older folx), great food and drank, amazing lineup.

crossed off some big checks for me. biggest and bestest being @gorillaz - been waiting a long time to see this big fav of mine and while this whole fest was prompted by us selling our tix to see them headline in Glasgow (and now they’re coming to the states lolololol), I’m so pumped to have seen them at a fest. they are a festival band and the treat you get with this setup is the guests that you won’t see on tour. like hello?! seeing @jofustablet and @damonalbarn TOGETHER! dream come tru for these big baby blues. @yasiinbey w @bootiebrownofficial was hella rad.

feckin’ @kneecap32 was also a top spot highlight given my love for them and that they cannot come to the states. big sad and big fuck off to the red white and blue govt. a massive cherry on top was running into Móglai and Próvai and them being absolute delights of humans to chat with.

thrashing my body to @idlesband is always wildly cathartic for me. and shakin booty at @peggygou_ and sudanarchives was tight. Sudan’s album was my fav of 2025 and if yall aren’t on her game, get on it now. she’s a powerhouse.

the rarity of seeing Elizabeth Fraser with @massiveattackofficial was a real treat. and pure joy around seeing @miked do his solo stuff and a Beastie Boys tune. forever special.

some new to me acts I picked up at the fest that I’m spinning now were @yardactband and @baxterdury - both amazing energy.

I loved @primaverasound_porto and would go back in a heartbeat.

One of the greatest joys life has given me is the invisible tie to someone who wants to explore every corner of this world in the exact same way I do.

That very much means not denying ourselves anything that can be eaten or drunk, and making me fall in love with her when she says, “you know what, let’s order the lobster too.”

That also very much means someone who says, “don’t go dark on me, Bob,” when the topics of life (and the frijoles) be hitting.

That also very much means a friend who loves me even when I can be the most tired, difficult, and demanding version of myself I can be.

backshots in my 30s! I mean, in the back half of my 30s! ya number 1 slut is 35 today.

feeling so pumped for all that I am and all that I have. the older I get the better I know myself and that shit is tight. the vibe for my 35th year is more cigarettes, more drinks, more hedonism. life is too short to say no to a good time.

I took a lot of the last year off from my corporate job and things have been feeling fine. Im a Capricorn so I love multiple jobs with no one to answer to. But because I’m a Capricorn I also love that corporate money. Not really sure what the next year will bring but I’m open to anything and everything that comes my way.

feeling fine and feral and willing to try all things new. never been snowboarding, let’s do it. invite me to whatever you want and I’ll say yes.

life is weird and full of terrors right now, but I hope all you freaks are finding ways to terrorize the system right back. love y’all and thanks for being part of the ride! by @mr.boothroy

favorites of the year ✨

the big chop! been obsessed with my cut from @farrahfawcettofficial going into a new year. after spending my whole like trying to cover my ear that sticks out farther than the other, I love loving how it looks and letting me be me. a good stylist is everything and I have the best.

🐶 all my doggos this year, but especially my Claude and Franny. I belong with a dog or five or a hundred.

still not over going to New Zealand or seeing Kendrick again

drove between LA and the bay twice, me behind the wheel the entire time, and it reminded me of everything I love about home. spending time in places like pismo and the Madonna inn was so deeply connected to my childhood- not always an easy thing for me to be connected to. laughed so hard at the absurd green car and then found it to be so fun when so many people along the route made comments, jokes, thumbs up, honks, stares.

the year of the reviews! watched 333 films this year and wrote a review for all of them. challenging myself to write more has fruited a lot of growth as a creative, film lover, and introspection. I’m not sure that I’ll stick with every single film needing a review, but I love writing about film and hope to do it forever. If you read one I’m grateful. 💛

if you were a part of my year in any way I genuinely wish you a new year that is everything you need it to be. be good to yourself and be good to each other. hoping to spend less time in all things digital and more time doing anything and everything I can to experience life. it’s been a good one and I dug it ✌🏼 by @mr.boothroy

these California girls had a great time showing @felixnellenn our home state this week ✨

packed lots of activities in between SF, wine country, the redwoods, beach time, the Madonna Inn, the house of mouse, LA + all the eats 🎢

always the best time being home and even better showing the place I love to people I love 💌

life bits and a big update ✨

when they said it’s gonna be May no one said it would be so awesome. the month has been real special so far.

went and saw @kendricklamar and @sza in charlotte and had a blast 🌭

flew to ca to do a road trip up the coast with some pals

started in Disneyland to pop their cherries 🎢

made a special stop in LA to spend a moment at David Lynch’s grave and have a snack with a side of tears

drove up the 1 through my childhood stomping grounds in Pismo and Monterey. shoutout to the best chowdah on the planet @splashcafe and the best aquarium on the planet @montereybayaquarium

got lucky with some real sunny days in the best home town 🌁

ended up in in Santa Rosa where we got the best hangs in with the best friends. it’s pretty tight mine and John’s best buds live two miles apart.

lotso wine, best damn eats, and party time all around 💛

all the free time made possible by my life update: I left my job! this is something I’ve been swirling on for a while as it shifted into a place I didn’t want to be anymore and that was taking a toll. I’m not totally sure what’s next, I’m figuring that out while focusing on my health and happiness for a minute.

in the meantime I’m still doing pup care and enjoying all the sweet doggos passing through 🐶🐾

there’s some unknowns on the horizon, but feeling grateful for the chance to take a step back and focus on number 1 me right now.
