Among Ruins and Star - My Debut Album drops on Spotify tomorrow!!

This album reflects two years of love, joy, heartbreak, and heartache that I’m finally willing to put out into the world. Dealing with all my highs and lows, music has always been a space of support and compassion for me. Next to Spanish, Music is my chosen second language. Always a place to wander, to listen, and to guide. As I enter the next part of my life I hope this album carries on that tradition. Inspired by all the artists, friends, and family who have inspired me my whole life, this album deals with a spectrum of emotions finding solace in the bittersweet, and broken hearted. Not every song is sad and not every song is happy, there’s always an in between with each song where I wanted to ask myself the hard questions, being receptive to the answers I did not want to hear. I don’t always have the right words but I find that a lot of the time that is what music is for: to lift you up, to hold you down, and just be. First and foremost I want to thank Chef Judeley, my brother, for the all nighters in the studio, and at the crib, cooking up masterpieces. I want to thank Natalie, Jalen, Jaz, Kailer, and the whole Sharps/Mellon/Black Raspberry family for believing in me and supporting me all the way. And finally I want to thank all my friends and family who listened to me shout into a microphone at 3 o’clock in the morning. This was a journey and I am so glad to share it with you all.

Sending All My Love,
