Racing Line Vol. II

One of the things I love most about Formula 1 is that success rarely comes from one spectacular moment. It’s built through consistency and incremental progress.

Lap after lap, every driver aims for the same racing line—refining it by millimetres, carrying a little more speed, braking a little later. Tiny improvements, repeated over and over again.

When you capture it on camera (my iPhone in this case), it becomes surprisingly obvious. The cars almost trace the same invisible line, proving that mastery isn’t about constant reinvention—it’s about doing the fundamentals exceptionally well.

Sometimes, the fastest way forward is simply repeating the right process.

This summer, KAMI made its debut at Cocktail in the City, and we couldn’t have asked for a better stage.

In partnership with Shochu Lounge, we served Satsuma in the heart of Bedford Square—a lightly sparkling cocktail combining vibrant clementine, aromatic sansho pepper, and the lingering notes of cacao and dark chocolate from KAMI Barley Shochu.

With the sun shining over Bedford Square, there couldn’t have been a better setting to introduce a new way of enjoying authentic Japanese shochu.
