This is wild to be able to finally talk about but sometime ago my girl @taylerelizabeth__ sent me a link to an open audition for @masterchefonfox , I’m not gonna lie I kinda shrugged it off. Later that week my mom said you should just apply! So I did! I can’t thank my family and friends enough for the encouragement and support ❤️, Last night on @fox42kptm I competed for an apron and god willing ya boy did it! To the many of you that have reached out already I’m more than humbled and blessed 🙏🏾. I’d like to thank @gordongram for the opportunity, but most importantly god for blessing me with the many talents he has! One of the most under-the-radar weekly events in the Omaha area is happening every Thursday night at @venue.1883 at @thecopperdollarranch ! Think free live music, great cocktails, and some seriously exciting food from local chef @mr.west402 aka @notjustomahaeats of The Manna Table.

This Thursday, they had not one, but two live musicians, and Chef Tay was serving up his weekly special: one of the absolute best burgers I’ve had in quite some time.

This thing was MONSTROUS. We’re talking a double smash burger with two kinds of cheese, house-smoked pastrami, crispy onions, pickles, and a sweet sauce reminiscent of Russian dressing. Imagine if a smash burger and a Reuben had a baby.

You practically had to unhinge your jaw to get your mouth around it! Juicy, messy, cheesy, packed with flavor, and absolutely dripping with deliciousness. This was not your average run-of-the-mill burger. And as if that wasn’t enough, Chef Tay served it with a generous portion of hand-cut beef tallow fries.

But the food is only part of the story. The atmosphere at Copper Dollar Ranch is hard to beat, and there’s a whole lot happening here, with even more planned for the future. It’s the kind of place that reminds you how much cool stuff is happening just outside the Omaha metro.

Located about 3.5 miles west of Plattsmouth, between Plattsmouth and Louisville, it’s a bit of a drive from Omaha, but Thursday nights are absolutely worth checking out if you’re looking for something different.

You don’t know WHERE you’re going or WHAT you’re eating until the day of👀🍽️

That’s the fun of @bestfestomaha

The location is revealed the morning of the event, and then you show up that night with absolutely no idea what’s waiting for you. Every course was a surprise, and the whole experience felt so thoughtfully put together.

And the little personal touches?! 🥹 Our names were crafted into custom keychains and placed at our seats, and there was even a surprise hidden underneath the dessert board. It wasn’t just dinner, it felt like the entire evening was made specifically for the guests.

I love when a dining experience keeps you curious from beginning to end… and Best Fest definitely delivered!
