I picked up this early 05-pro II made in Japan for cheap recently. Going to try to save it, as even though it's cosmetically rough, it's appears to work ok. I bought an 06 pro in San Francisco when they were first released in 1997. The store also had the limited Q bert 05 pro in stock, so it was a toss up between that and the brand new 06. In retrospect I bought the wrong mixer.... 😵‍💫 by @mr157

From the first time I heard Biz on Def Fresh Crew in 86 I knew he was special (As kids we used to copy the meow mix part to great hilarity). His successive 12s and albums proved he was more than just the juice crews beatbox, he was a talented and funny MC. His later production work on "The Tape" and numerous other projects showed that he also had an exceptional ear for music, and was a legendary collector of records and other crazy shit. In the words of Edan "it'll be a sad day like when the biz mark dies". I hope you're up there somewhere rocking two copies of mardi gras, without the bells of course..... by @mr157
