The joy of exercising with my son. He is my motivation and I’m his role model. We’ve come so far over the years with him riding it started with just doing one to two miles to now he’s able to do 20 miles. Two times today on Motivation Monday, situations came up that normally would’ve rattled me… and neither one did. To the point @antmcc18 even noticed the difference.

For a while, life had me carrying more weight than I realized. But somewhere along the way, @bonafideriderscc brought me back to my happy place. Being around this community, these rides, and these cyclists has helped me find peace again.

Cycling has become more than just miles for me it’s therapy, brotherhood, and a reminder that joy can always be rediscovered.

Proud Bonafide member. Grateful for every mile, every conversation, and every person that’s been part of this journey.

At 40 years old, I’m just beginning to truly understand the importance of mental health. Every year seems to bring new stressors, new responsibilities, and new challenges. Life can get heavy if you let it. For me, cycling and @bonafideriderscc community have been major outlets. The bike has become more than exercise its therapy. It’s where I clear my mind, process life, find peace, and reconnect with myself. As men, we’re often taught to push through, stay silent, and carry the weight alone. But the truth is, we all need an outlet. Whether it’s cycling, running, lifting weights, fishing, hiking, music, or simply talking to someone you trust find something that positively impacts your mental health.

Check in on yourself. Check in on your brothers.

I’ve watched this grow from nothing
