This post is a couple days late… but I just wanted to give a huge thank you to everyone who made it possible for my birthday to be so wonderful… truly… each and every one of you who helped me celebrate… THANK YOU SO SO MUCH… I don’t usually do anything too big for my birthday… but this year felt different. It’s the start of a new decade. New chapter. New beginnings. From the taco buffet, to arcade games, to a slice of cake bigger than my whole face, to karaoke… I hope that everyone who was with me that night is with me throughout the next decade as well. 20-30 has brought a huge amount of growth and learning. It was nice to take a night (really the whole week actually) to acknowledge and appreciate that. ‘Twas a major cause for celebration indeed… swipe through the post to see some karaoke action lol… my Dad and I did our own rendition of a Cat Stevens song together and I did one of my favorites by Green Day.
Just like the song… good riddance to my 20s… I had the time of my life. by @mr2muchcool

I don’t usually post videos of myself singing… but this was a special occasion. For Father’s Day/Dad’s Birthday this year, we had a small family get together out at the ranch. We grilled some burgers, hotdogs, had sides galore, DESSERTS, and sang some familiar songs as a family. I surprised Dad with a song I have never heard him sing before. It’s called “Celebrate” and he wrote it himself back when he was 18. I have always felt connected to this song and I really can’t explain why. My Grandma loved it, so that could be part of it. It’s hard for me to know the exact reason I was compelled to do this, but I hope I did it justice. My voice was definitely a tad bit shaky holding back my emotion. I knew that if I looked up at him, I would have fallen apart, so I kept looking down the majority of the time. It was a moment that Dad definitely didn’t expect. Special. We also sang “Father and Son” by Cat Stevens. Please excuse my nose scratch at the beginning of that video… it was a scratch not a pick I SWEAR 🤣 But anyways… that song takes a special meaning for the two of us. It’s a reminder that time works in funny ways and it’s important to appreciate our relationship. He was once as I am now, after all. I need to give a special thanks to our cousin Tim for playing guitar and helping me put this together. It really means more than you know. I also wanted to give my heartfelt condolences to the rest of our family… particularly the Arch Morse side. Buddy will always be remembered and carried on in our hearts. I am so sorry for your loss. Happy 70th Birthday to the most fantastic Dad a guy could ask for. The almost 30 years that I’ve know you so far have been a blast. From you legit having the best music taste (and instilling that in me from my car seat days), to being my computer teacher for all of elementary school, to going on our 50 state drives… to really just being a great dad… I got to know you in your 40s and 50s. Then, your 60s have brought an abundance of fun as well. Getting to randomly meet Adam Silver and Jim Plunkett definitely weren’t on my bingo card of things we’d do together, but hey… those two completely random events happened in your 60s. I learned from your wisdom and became a land owner with you and because of you. So many great events and life lessons have been learned over these past ten years. I look forward to learning so much more from you and getting to have new stories from your 70s. Love ya Dad. More than you know. Happy Birthday and party on!!! by @mr2muchcool

This video is a couple days late, but OH WELL 🤣… Anyways, I wanted to share a “brief” update on my life. I had a fantastic Saturday this weekend. I ran a 5k and did a polar plunge to support the Northern California Special Olympics. I wanted to highlight some of the fun from that day and post a video for all of my followers to see. Fantastic event. I also wanted to give a huge shoutout to @tvirrey and @tnavarec for being such cool people. Your kindness will stick with me for a long time. Thanks for being such a big part of making my Saturday a positive one. Can’t say enough good things about this whole day. @specialolympicsnca I took so much joy in supporting everything that you guys do. Well Stuff just turned 17 today! Hard to believe… and no he doesn’t always have his tongue out. He just got done eating some much deserved wet food when I took this picture today lol! He is truly the best cat I have known or will ever know. THE cool cat. Love him so much! by @mr2muchcool

I know this isn’t my most flattering angle 🤣 BUT I had to post this. Stuff is just such a great cat. I know my arm probably wasn’t the most comfortable spot, but this little dude still hung out there all night. I had no intentions of falling asleep on the couch, but I was too tired and too comfortable hanging out with him. I knocked out and he stayed right there all night. He truly is a fantastic cat. Just wanted to make a Stuff appreciation post today. Also, thank you to my roommate @osean_man for taking this video. A rare moment I’ll get to keep because of you. Oh Stripes… I’m so sorry you had to go so soon. You were a light in our lives and a great adopted little brother to Stuff. After his littermate passed away, you were much needed company for him. You wandered into our home at just the right time. Although sometimes… I think Stuff took on the role of big brother a little too well and made sure little bro got a little “tough love” once in a while lol (see fourth pic). I’ll miss hearing your squeaky meow when I walk up to the house at night. I’ll miss your little Stripes saunter. You definitely had your own walk. I remember one time you went on a two week long adventure away from the house. I thought for sure you were gone for good, but I was so relieved when I saw you by the back porch one night. You came back with a limp, but you were back. I wonder what you saw because you never left again after that… until now. Tonight, when I got home… I had the slightest bit of hope that I’d get to see you again, but it was quickly shattered when I remembered that’s just not possible now. We buried you today. This dang road out here is so brutal for all the outside fur babies. You had been with us for 6 or 7 years and I wasn’t worried about you with cars anymore. I think that’s why I’m so shocked by this whole thing. Just this morning, you were here and healthy. I think my biggest regret is the fact that I was in a hurry out the door today and kind of startled you when I was leaving quickly. The last time I saw you alive was you being scared. I am so sorry little guy. You did not deserve that at all. I had no intention of you feeling that way. I should have stopped and given you some pets one last time… but I didn’t know that would be it. I will miss you buddy. Stuff will miss you too. Thanks for being the best boy. Keep it real up there in kitty heaven. Love you. by @mr2muchcool

Happy Belated Father’s Day and Birthday to my dad. He’s the guy that will always have me on his shoulders one way or another (see second picture). Thank you for always being so supportive of me in life. I appreciate everything you have done and continue to do for me. I aspire to show the same amount of care and respect to my kids someday.
