Had a cracking afternoon back in Leeds, last Thursday, playing for @grooveyardrecords on @mesh.radiolds

It’s easy to forget how much difference a good group of people makes. Everyone involved was welcoming, the residents absolutely know their music, and the whole thing just had a the right feel about it.

Really enjoyed digging through the bag for this one. Thanks for the invite and everyone who locked in for the set and extra shouts to @shockolatte_deluxe for coming with!

MR-E is a Leeds-based DJ and producer known for genre-fluid, high-energy sets that move between deep early 2000s tech house, punchy electro and bumpy UK garage. Blending dark grooves with unpredictable selections, his sound pulls from across the underground while always bringing fresh energy to the dancefloor.

Despite only DJing for two years, MR-E has already played venues including Distrikt, HiFi Club, The Warehouse and Beaver Works.

As a resident at Mesh Studio, he uses the platform to showcase carefully selected records, bringing a different flavour each month across a range of underground sounds.

His productions have gained support from RTK Tarantino, Jackard and Jeremy Sylvester. by @bobby_odonnell

SUEÑO SUNDAYS!

This milestone 20th anniversary of Leeds Pride is massive, and with the celebrations across the city expanding to a full two-day festival, we couldn't think of a better time to bring you Sueño Sundays.

More than three years since our last party at Distrikt, Sueño is absolutely delighted to return with a day and night party.

The FREE party will feature a handpicked lineup of dedicated DJs and diggers who bring a truly eclectic range of music to the decks.

We’ve been flirting with the idea of regular Sunday parties, hopefully if it goes well, we’d love to make ‘Sueño Sundays’ a regular fixture in Leeds. 🙏

While we are always proud to give artists a platform to play, the goal is to build a relaxed Sunday community for diggers and partygoers.

Expect great sound, good music, and a perfectly chilled atmosphere. Come by for a chat, have a dance, and just hang out. 🏳️‍🌈💚🎧💃🕺

DVO Debut ✅
