Thank you to everyone who came out to our beach party! This was such a sweet and special day! Here are some pictures from performances before we hit the ocean. 🌊 🏰 🎉

Congratulations to all of our artists and thank you for sharing your work with us! Yesterday was a sunny day in Queens filled with a “How-To” manual on beach etiquette, Scumbag the Clown, a charming gay whale song, an experimental sea-weed ascension and a dolphin support group looking to make amends. 🐬 ✨

We appreciate your support while we experiment with event styles and are so excited to come back in the fall with a Brooklyn mask required puppet slam! 💥

Noel (they/he/xe) is a queer puppeteer, artist and writer living in Brooklyn! The art incorporates found objects, collage elements and a good deal of delightful weirdness. You can follow him at @roseopossum for more art adventures or perhaps catch him at a stop-motion film screening. 🎉

See you soon! 😎 by @mr_kywhy

We are so happy to introduce our newest producer as a performing artist, Roxas Sky (they/he) AKA Haphazard Puppetry! 💥

Haphazard Puppetry is a DIY Puppet Theatre Company founded by Florida born, Brooklyn stationed, multi-media disciplinary artist Roxas Sky (@roxas_sky). Roxas is known as a piece fit of spectacle and community builder. They have produced a number of small scale art showcases, themed parties and club meet-ups across Brooklyn. Following years of creation, curation and clowning in NY, Roxas has deliberately shifted their creative life towards puppetry, and have already performed a number of variety shows and puppet slams since making this concerted pivot. 🌟
