Started on the next bone eater from @kingdomdeath. Just focusing on doing a relaxing skintone exercise, and the bone eaters are perfect for that.

New project finished and testing a new phone camera. Definitely a improvement and I think these weird shrimp people from @kingdomdeath, are delighted with how they look. A quick little project, where I got to just have some fun with colours.

I recently finished these fantastic @bestiarum.games minis. I have converted them a bit, so they fit the Blood Bowl aesthetic. It's a long time since I painted so many minis in the same theme, so it got a bit boring, and there are still my things I could refine, but I declare them ready for the first match, and if the game is funny, then I might return to them.
.
Also it is not really fun to post anymore, because my camera is no longer up to par, and I can't afford a new one right now, but minis still get painted, which is the most important part.

Recently finished these lovely minis at @thearmypainter. They are from one of my favourite mini brands @bestiarum.games, and I thought they would be great to show of the upcoming John Blanche Vol 3 & 4 and luckily my colleagues agreed 😅. I'm quite happy about them and I just love their design. Really one of those projects that are just enjoyable from start to end.

Recently finished the warcry warband. Tried different skintones for each one. Some more successful than others, but all in all I like them and I look forward to try warcry.

Finished these yoke fiends/my good fat boys, for my trench crusade warband. Love these @trench_crusade designs. Especially the two-headed coat, and they look great even though it's just a quick and dirty paint job.

This fantastic mini is from @bestiarum.games and probably the first of many bestiarum minis I'm going to paint. When I first saw the mini, it instantly reminded me of my favourite dark souls boss Gael, it only needed a bit of conversion so it could have a mysterious hood and a good beard. And I loved the result so much, my first ever dnd character is now based on this model and now Ulm, Friar of the Silver Flame, is roaming the world of Eberron😊

Back home from my second year at SMC. Another great experience. Even better than last year, maybe because I wasn't constantly overwhelmed this year😅

This year I entered in fantasy figures standard and gaming figures standard. I got gold in fantasy figures for my whole display and silver in gaming figures for my summer and winter napoleonic frenchmen. Both results were a very unexpected but happy surprise.

But more importantly I got to talk about our hobby with some of my favourite hobbyist. Like my travel bodies @mini.mikkel and @krokohunter. My colleagues from @thearmypainter, some of them did amazingly in some of the master categories. Congratulations to @artificers_minis and @coltaupainting. Stunning pieces and well deserved 😊

But I also got to talk more with some amazing Danish artists. Thank you for the talks @watchpaintdry_minis, @gnillab, @pink_label_studio and @thorbjorn_barone.

Lastly I got to meet Robert at @roglandstudio , a painter I have been fan of since I saw his boxart for blood rage and the others 7 sins. Thank you for the talks and it was a pleasure to meet you and congratulations on the best of show😁

It was awesome and I'm looking forward to attend again next year. by @mr_mclaughlin

This past weekend I spend in Copenhagen, in the @chromanaut_workshop, learning from the great @romanlappat.miniatureart at his advanced miniature painting workshop. Romans tutorials on massive voodoo was probably my first gateway into miniature painting which didn't come from games workshop and he have been a massive influence, in my miniature painting, ever since. So it was awesome finally to learn from him in real life and he did not disappoint. 2,5 very long, perfectly structured, brain tiring, days filled with lessons from a master, who also knows how to teach. A truly great experience, spent with awesome, kind and extremely talented painters. Time well spent.
.
This was my piece for the weekend. I'm not great with basebuilding and I could not paint as I normally do, but I'm quite happy about this result and the process. Something I can take with me in my next projects. There is a small story/idea behind the piece, but this post is already too long😅

Last time I played @kingdomdeath with my kdm group, my brother @dornsarrow joined us, because one of the usual group members couldn't join that day. Here they fought against Gorm for the first time. And all the way through the game and afterwards my brother shamed me for not having painted all the monsters they fought, maybe rightly so 😂 so now I probably have to paint all the monsters, before we play with against them. Gorm is still a early wip, but I like where it is going.

And now some actual wips. I want to try out warcry, because I have heard some nice things about it, and when I saw the Gorger Mawpack I quickly fell in love with their handsome faces and calm demeanor. So far I have put some paint on these 2 and they are nearing completion, but because I love painting skin, I also want to get it just right, but nearly there.

I also recently finished another version of the bust. This one I got at SMC 2024. It is sculpted by @coltaupainting and I got it as a gift by the man himself. I only needed to promise that I would actually paint it, which I have now done and I even did it twice. A really fun little dude to paint 😊
