🙏🏼One of my favorite acting pieces to date! Wonderful team of people, cast and crew to work with. This hits home as this story visits similarities to many Vietnamese refugees who got sponsored into Canada after the War in Vietnam in 1979, Inspired by True Events. Happy and proud to have been a part of this. 🫰🏻

Film: Hope and Grace
Directed by: @louisa_cbe
Producers: @reginaunplugged John Alviz Willian Leung

Stories have a way of reminding us that everyone is carrying something we can’t see.

When locked out of his DVD shop, an absent father must prove to his impressionable young daughter that he is worth letting back in.

My POV while camera operating a section of a choreographed fight sequence from @chuckieack latest music video short film, "Until The End" 💪🏽🎥

Shout out to the stunt team on creating such fluid movements, making the fight look seamless 💯

In commemoration of one of my favorite festivals that was held this past weekend - @vietfilmfest , celebrating Vietnamese voices and stories around the world — I’m sharing some of my favorite Vietnamese works I’ve been part of. Here’s to the filmmakers, actors, and dreamers keeping our stories alive on screen. 🫰🏻

Honored and grateful to be part of the theatrical release of Unrestricted War, directed by Yan Ma. The film recently debuted in select theatres, telling a powerful story of modern conflict and human resilience. I had the opportunity to play a role within the Chinese interrogation unit, and I’m truly thankful to have contributed to this meaningful project. 🎬🙏

SUPER fun time shooting @therecruitseries_netflix @netflix with the talented stunt team, cast and crew. Had a chance to work with Teo known for “Past Lives” movie. Did a little short fight scene on a moving yacht ✅. Met up with some cool mma friends and exchanged some knowledge. Big thanks to my bosses @james.michalopoulos @virtuemarshall for being studs and keeping us safe. 🤙🏼 but that PONY tail though…. 😂🙂‍↕️

Please watch THE RECRUIT S2 on Netflix! 😁😁😁

**2 months late post.
6 Tournaments, 1.5 years and hundreds of hours rolling later, my heart is now 🟦🟦🟦⬛️🟦.
A HUGE thank you to the amazing @kingjiujitsu for introducing me to the world of Brazilian jiu jutsu. I’ve become addicted to it. I’ve searched far and wide for my next “home” which became King Jiu Jutsu. I’ve always finish what I start and coming from a 10+ years of Shorin-Ryu Karate and gymnastics, I really struggled to find a community of which I can match my work ethic. I’m glad I came across KJJ. Thank you for keeping me accountable and continually challenging me on the mats and in competition. I didn’t think I’d be a grappler because I’ve always loved to strike. Thank you to all of my coaches, training partners for making me a better person on and off the mats, you know who you are 🙏🏼 But for now, I will embark on a new journey as a blue belt.

Competitor Journey (what people really wanna know 🐶)
6 Tournaments in a year.
- 4 Golds 🥇🥇🥇🥇
- 1 Silver 🥈
- 1 Bronze🥉

Total matches: 13
Wins: 10
Losses: 3

This is to keep myself motivated, accountable and also try to match my call of duty K/D ratio. Thanks for pushing me into my first tournament at 5 months into this. I’ve always been the eyes on the prize type competitor. Martial arts has always been the way of life and I philosophize it all the time.

BJJ is not easy. It is not. But it will challenge you in ways never imaginable. The people you meet are none other than spectacular people. But nonetheless your parents will always beat yo ass regardless of how much training you do.
Our school motto is, Technical Violence, don’t take things for granted and absolutely no Mickey Mouse Sh*t. Time to train.
